Description
since there are few good reconstructions of this majestic animal, I remade my old one.Around the eyes are those sonar dish things that owls have.
pectinodon is quite interesting, being larger than achero, likely omnivorous, and not adapted for climbing.
Disclaimer: I do not take credit for the skeletal references used as bases for the silhouettes I make.
this silhouette in particular is based off of 's troodon skeletal.

I like it! Pectinodon is really neat, and I had no idea until now that it was known from more than teeth!

There are apparently fragmentary juvenile specimens and eggshells known, but that's according to the Wikipedia article. I've checked through a bunch of sources, including the one cited just after the bones were mentioned (Carpenter 1982), but I can't seem to find reference to them in anything. Maybe I wasn't reading closely enough? I don't know, man.
It's worth note though that there's a lot of other troodontid material known from Lancian faunas that might be referable to Pectinodon, or more likely, Pectinodon would be referable to another genus.
With all that said, was your description of the animal pure speculation? On what did you base it? Out of sheer curiosity, of course ^u^

I love coloration, is it based in some species of Phaesant?

Nice to see the owl meme is spreading. Would've been cool if they really had that.

quite likely in more derived troodonts, considering the asymmetric ears the radar dishes are likely

But wasn't that only known for one genus, those assymetric ears?

I believe it was known from more, but I don't know

thank you, it's based off of a owl, with some differences
