Description
A long overdue sketch commission for ~wyrd66 of her awesome species, the Paski. This particular individual is a female of the Caandiki race. She was actually very fun to draw, as her anatomy was awesomely challenging (those legs! Those paws/hands! That face!!!) even though I kept second guessing some things, like the clothes. UGH I need to get better at understanding clothes, but since real-life-me isn't even remotely fashion forward, it's extraordinarily difficult.
This was originally intended to be a quick sketch, but since it's taken me so long to get around to finishing it, I decided to set aside a bit of time and finish it up more as consolation for her patience. Also, because I enjoyed working on it.
Yes. <3 Paski. I'm very much envious of how much work she's put into them!
Apologies to those who are still waiting on commissions, I've been working on them despite how irritating worklife is right now. I hope to be over it and back to illustrating/commissions soon. Thanks so much to everyone for their continued support.

Actually, I tried drawing out a little bit of the woods that surrounded my campsite when I went north this past weekend. It's ugly, but it was still practice. Maybe I'll do more work on it and post it someday!

Practice makes perfect, and as an artist it's your prerogative to make 'ugly' practice drawings in the pursuit of perfecting certain subject matter!
But seriously, those mountains look very nice; light enough not to distract, but detailed enough to satisfy the eye.

Lovely! It's a very cool and intresting species concept, and i think you did a great job!
One thing that's stood out to me in your drawings recently though, have been your trees and backgrounds! I know it's not the main focus of your drawings, but the pine in this is just awesome, as are the mountains in the distance. Really nicely conveyed, elegant settings while still being simply developed and not distracting. Nice work.

I have been trying harder with diversifying tree-forms and putting a bit more thought into backgrounds/landscapes.
