Josie belongs to Steve and Cheryl Moffitt of Diamond View Ranch. I have the great luck to be able to use their wonderful mare.Feel free to use as non-commercial stock. Fave, link, CREDIT, all those nice things-- would love to see what you do with it. Personal, non-commercial use (cards for friends, ens.) is also great, let me know, I’m totally curious as to what ppl do with my art. Please talk to me about commercial use. Interesting shot, she is gorgeous!
I really like how the brown and white colors of the horse contrast and stand out against the blue background. This really helps us to notice the horse first. I think it's great that the background is a little plain, as it emphasizes the horse.
The pose you captured is great, you must have had great timing - I know how these animals can move in a split second! Great work!
I do think the photo could be a little sharper overall, which would help with some of the details. Perhaps you could clean it up a little more as well, such as cloning out the whiskers and whatnot.

thanks for the critique. I was looking at her whiskers and I suspect at least a face wash should have been the plan--will for sure edit a little and see if I can get it a little sharper and more finished. Thanks!
