thanks man. yeah, it's not conceptual but I get how someone would see the suit, tie and skull and think I was trying to make a statement about capitalism or some shit but they would be wrong. I thought about that as soon as it was done which is why I gave it a dumb title, to try and throw people off a little.

I was more along the lines of thinking of it (and I knew you hadn't intended this, as your totally random manifesto is writ) as a statement on how people make all these arbitrary decisions like what clothes they buy, cigarettes they smoke, music they listen to, favorite comedian, tv shows they watch and build who they are out of it yet, underneath we're all made of the same bone n' muscle and any one could have made the same choices you did. Also the obvious death statement.

Thats the thing about conecepts I guess. The viewer usually makes 'em up.

pretty much just magazines. I don't print out photos cause that means you have to look for certain images. I much prefer to work at random with whatever images I come across.

every now and then I look for cheap magazine lots on ebay. I once got like 15 issues of National Geographic for like 12 bucks and that particular magazine is a gold mine. here's a collage made entirely from National Geo mags (except the background) just to prove my point. [link]
