The Sky Kingdom
A set of large and small floating islands, situated above the sea. The largest islands are connected to the ground through large chains and bridges that let other creatures travel to the floating land. The islands have a deep layer of clouds beneath them, making them almost impossible to see from the ground or the sea.
The Sky Kingdom is the land of the Electric Dragons and the place of origin of the Lantern Keepers. Its islands are mostly covered in green or aquamarine grass, with flowers of an immense variety of colour and bioluminescent pollen. At night, fireflies take over the sky and land, creating patterns in the night sky. Ruins of ancient temples can be found everywhere, as well as fountains, waterfalls and forgotten islands which are said to be the place of the sleeping souls.

The Lanterns
The lanterns are the vessels on which the creatures' dreams travel. If the lights in the lanterns shine brightly, the creatures are bound to have pleasant dreams and will live on. If the light into the lanterns dies, the demons will corrupt the dreams of those who dare to sleep, and cause serious problems. The most known effects of the demons getting into dreams are insanity, will to never sleep again, and eventually even neverending sleep. Sometimes the demons will also drain the life out of the sleeper, and it's not an uncommon occurrence.
One of the rare effects instead, is getting a secondary element for dragons, or gaining a power for the non-dragonic creatures. It's both a blessing and a curse, as the power they gain is corrupted and either very difficult to use, or will backfire against its master if used.

The Lantern Keepers
Creatures who are chosen to be the caretakers of the Lanterns spread throughout the Kingdom. There are several keepers for each kingdom.
Their task is to maintain the lanterns' lights strong and alive, and to never let their magic fire die out.

So ok, I hated Maverick's old design. No matter how many blue/red combinations I tried, I just... SHJSKSDH he just wasn't right. That, and there was something that strongly bothered me with his old design... but I'm not gonna go into details unless you note me. I don't want to flame anyone on here.

Anyway, the poor grump was in need of a redesign, and since I'm rather tired of dark designs, this happened.

I must say I really freaking LOVE this design. Fluffy, cream-like colours, amazing colour scheme. I must thank chromaa on tumblr for posting such beautiful colour palettes. <3
