However, how she acts on the inside is much different than how she appears. To strangers, she is aloof, cold, and easily passive, but to close friends and well known associates,...she is a huge dork. Loves a good joke, loves a good prank even more. She moves at her own pace, active when she wants to and becomes her ultimate laziest when prompted to move faster. She likes a good challenge and if it's not worth it, then she's not going to give it her time either. She isn't mean without cause and tends to shelter or be a lot more polite to more naive people, finding it in their best interest not to "taint" them with her humor. She does have a heart in there...somewhere.

History:
In West Kalos region, born and raised,
In Cyllage City is where she spent most of her days.
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And climbing some walls outside of the school.--

Mostly true, but without the song reference, Clarke's beginnings take place in a city west of Lumiose in the Kalos Region. An only child, Clarke was born and loved by both parents equally and they encouraged her to do anything she set her mind to. Skip ahead to her elementary days of spending more time climbing on the sides of walls of ANYTHING--cliffs, houses, full scale buildings, you name it. Clarke climbed them all. It kept her mind off of other troubling matters such as overhearing her parents discussing with her teachers and doctors, worried over her social skills with her peers, or an incident years prior where she climbed too high and--all Clarke remembers is waking up and having a major sore throat and headache.

Regardless, Clarke kept to herself mostly. Other kids were fast making friends and some dropped out to become trainers. The idea did fancy Clarke once or twice but she wasn't too determined to go out into the world to catch and train pokemon. Most pokemon could only listen to their trainer's voice in order to obey or become friends with them, and that was with the more easily trained pokemon! Aside from her parents and special aid teacher at school, Clarke didn't think anyone else would listen to her or take the time to learn "her language".

That is, until her 10th birthday when her parents surprised her with a Certified Swablu, trained especially for her. Clarke immediately laughed at him, the poor thing looked more like a big puffball than an actual bird. Though her giggles were completely soundless, the Swablu picked up on the motions and immediately chirped, creating the sound of laughter for the two of them. And as with most duos brought together, the two were inseparable ever since, he was her constant companion through the rest of her school days--her travels from home to other cities within Kalos, and during a battle against a trainer from Kanto, the little Swablu grew into an Altaria, strengthening their bond even more. It was through her Altaria that Clarke found her love for music, despite the cruel irony of not being able to vocally produce it, she tinkered with instruments and whatever was at hand on the computer.

Her parents picked up on this, and with their money saved, they urged her to seek out her dream but to also gain more pokemon like her Altaria to at least keep her company. Of all regions, Clarke chose Alola. It looked nice, she liked the sun and sand, and from further research, there was more development being made in the music scene as well as mountains to climb in her spare time.

Along the way, she caught a Dedenne that decided, no, she would catch Clarke as her trainer. It was a weirdly marked pokemon, and Clarke figured, why not one more companion for the ride. The Dedenne already made herself a home inside Clarke's bag anyway.

Shy of being 19 and now in Alola with nothing but her parents, her Altaria, and new Dedenne's support on her back--Clarke immediately tried everywhere she could for a job. Most places turned her down, figuring even with service pokemon, she'd be a liability with being unable to work well in retail. Then, she came across The Aether Foundation--a place that loved pokemon dearly and did everything in it's power to help them. Clarke was initially wary but her Altaria promptly tugged her along in his beak, so she just couldn't say no.

She didn't expect to get a job there, and certainly didn't expect to feel so at home. The current head at the time hired her on along with another trainee, Sorell. He seemed quite nice at first and she retreated back to her shy ways but over time, found out that behind the handsome mask was a huge dork. Years went by and now she still works at Aether, now headed by Sorell, her once equal-coworker turned boss, Clarke doesn't mind not having the promotion. She'd rather have the unneeded pressure on her shoulders, and instead focused on her hobbies at her part time job at the recording studio. Even though she has much seniority over the newer members, Clarke decided she could at least make her years within the Foundation a little more interesting. For her and her co-workers.

-While she cannot speak she can hear. So, you know, be careful of what you say.
-Her ethnicity is French-Pakistani
