Description
With thoughts of a better adventure still lingering on her mind and bitter resentment that a sudden change in weather was not that she meant, the forest opened up to her and swallowed her whole. Yuliana didn't look back, taking on the forest path as a way for home, her head waterlogged and her eyes bleary, clothes soaked with grief and hope for a better tomorrow. And what had seemed like hours of her walking, Yuliana awoke in the misty forest, eyes squinting confused. The trees contorted and changed, seemingly blending in with the plants she knew from home and then some that looked compltely foreign to her.

With the sun rising in the distance and the trees, bending themselves to welcome her into this new found territory, Yuliana broke into a sprint. Wind rising and her heels in the air, she ran towards what would be her new home and new adventure. Unafraid and unbidden.

I played with this off and on for a good while, the trees being my biggest hurdle trying to past through.

And yes, 50 years ago, Yuli's hair was much shorter.

Watch, in about two hours I'm gonna find 500 errors with this and edit it again.
