She has made a point in teaching Rory all about first aid and how to practice basic care procedures.She is also clear-sighted (can see through the mist). She said nothing to Apollo about this before he told her, though, but kept it to herself until he became comfortable enough to reveal himself to her.

Powers:
LEVEL 30 - MAXED
FORESIGHT -*MAXED*
This means she has the power to see into the future at will. A side effect to this which was something she has dealt with since she was young, Rory has no control over what she sees. Meaning that while she can tell the future and what's to come, she can't choose which part of the future to fortell. It's a "What you see is what you get" sort of thing, so she has no control over what she forsees.
All 3 senses of sound, smell and sight are on par with the vision, meaning that she has a clear sight of what she's seeing, as well as be able to hear and smell anything within it. As she describes it, it's like watching a movie being made while standing on set as it's all happening.
Her own mood can affect the vision's accuracy. Being stressed/sad/angered will make the vision distorted or completely wrong. She has to be her normal happy self or at least neutral. (ie: If she's crying over someone and has a vision about them just to make sure if they'll be alright, the vision will lie to her and give her an even worser prediction. Or, if she's mad, the vision'll be all fuzzy and hazy, taunting her since she's not "thinking clearly".)
While touching someone else, she can have a vision about them. She is able to shut this side effect off to prevent accident visions.
If she wants to have the vision, she can only "see" for about 10 minutes before getting dizzy with a headache. The vision can be longer, but only if she is actually touching the person that the vision's about and this could only occur for up to 15 minutes. If it's about someone she's close to, be it friend or family member, she can “see” up to 20 minutes.

GLEAM & GLOW - *MAXED*
With the power of light, Rory can make her hair glow brightly steadfast for an hour without any dimming or faulting towards the end. But she doesn't have to keep it glowing, rather just making small bursts of light with it if she wants to. Her hair is not hot and is safe to touch, though staring at it will cause temporary blindness.
She can make 3 orbs of light that are no bigger than the average orange, each. She can break these orbs of light if she wants to, but they have to equal the "normal" size all together. She can also move them around, such as adding adding one to a small stick for a make-shift torch, or to one of her arrows to create a bright-flash distraction in battle or something of the like. These orbs are also condensed pieces of light and will burn upon touch causing flammable items to burn and/or prolonged skin contact to have 3rd degree burns. t's just as bad as holding onto a burning lightbulb or stove. Exceptions to this are Apollo kids and heat resistant demigods.
Applying the same mechanics it does to make the light, by touching other things she can make them glow as well. This also can be monitored by her, meaning she can brighten or dim it to suit her fancy. It should be noted that the glowing items with her light are safe to the touch and will not burn.
If she reaches her limit, she must recharge between 10 to 30 minutes before doing it again, as follows:
-10 minutes during the day in the Summer.
-20 minutes during the day in the Fall and Spring.
-30 minutes during the day in the Winter.
-30 minutes at night, regardless of season.
A side effect to this is that she is able to look at the sun and resist it's brightness for no more than 45 - 50 minutes at a time. Same goes for anything else that's close to the sun's brightness.
She can alter her own light's brightness as well, such as dimming it so it wouldn't blind fellow campers or enhancing it's brightness to use as a distraction to temporarily blind/disorient enemies for a quick getaway.

Note: No matter how bright the light coming from her will be, it will not affect other Apollo children in the sense of blinding them or be hot to the touch to them for that matter.

POETRY'S CURSE - *MAXED*
Much like how Apollo's curse, when Rory recites a poem, it effects those around her. The results vary depending on the poem's type. The only way not to be affected by this is if one's ears are fully covered, covering ears with hands doesn’t count.
She can direct the poem's effects and choose who is effected instead of having enemies AND allies affected in the vicinity. She cannot turn this power all the way "off", but as long she has someone in mind or is directly looking at the being she wants to "curse", then they will be affected and not her allies. If not, then everyone in the vicinity is fair game.
Radius of effect is 100 ft around her, while the duration lasts for 3 hours and 30 minutes, unless she releases them from the "curse" early.
-Hardy-Haikus: Haikus will create confusion which is useful for sneak attacks or running away.
-The Name Game: Name-Poems can give off a calling sense for back-up; The person will get a nudge or prick in the back of their mind that she's calling for them to come. They must be within her radius of effect for this to work.
-Rhyme in Time: Speaking in some sort of a Rhyme will make them catchy and they can cause someone else to start rhyming.
-There Once Was a Man...: Limericks can cause healing or plague, emotionally. By this, if the Limerick is funny or at least very light in tone and story, then the effected person(s) will become happy and start to laugh. But if it's sad in any sort of way, then they will become sad and possibly cry.
-Sleepy Sonnets: Sonnets can have the effect of making someone fall asleep.
Note: The only poems that are not effected by this are the ones in her blessing..

Blessings:
1st BLESSING: The Healing Book
For Rory’s first blessing, she has been given a poetry book, with poems that can heal. There are only 6 poems in all, each with a different degree in healing:
Poem 1: "Small little cut, be not so sore. Reverse and clean up to be good like before."
--Heals minor cuts.
Poem 2: "Quite a large slash, all red and a mess. This better go away before it becomes too grotesque."
--Heals major cuts and any kinds of burns.
Poem 3:"Broken bones willl never do. Please oh please become one and not two."
--Heals Minor fractures and broken bones.
Poem 4"Rest thy head for the slumber to come, think of something else that's nice until I am done."
--Heals major fractures and spinal injuries
Poem 5 "Oh dear, what now, are you all right? Sheesh man, this injury could take all night."
--Heals concussions and internal bleeding or any internal damage.
Poem 6 "Your body has cried and asked for help, so just stay still and then you won't yelp."
--Cures generic diseases (ie: Flu, Common cold, Headache/Stomach-ache eetc.) but not life-threatening ones (such as cancer or AIDS). This poem can also slow down poisonous effects in the body, such as delaying it's effects so one could get treatment.

2nd BLESSING: The Plagued Sword
For this blessing, Rory will receive a sword with a poisonous tip. The first person or monster she attacks with it will feel continuous pain for a duration of 30 minutes. It can only be used on one person or monster at a time. This blessing levels up by how many people she can use the effect of the sword on, time limit, and different effects that the sword can cause.

Personality:
Generally optimistic and easy-going, Rory is pretty much that one person anyone knows that gives a grin with a smile and seems to give everyone a "clean slate", meaning unless she gets to know you, you're fine with her. Being a child of the sun, Rory does get a bit excited over things, especially the ones that deal with the new, silly or cute stuff, like a small animal or seeing a new power. Not one to yell, Rory is also a bit soft spoken, but this doesn't mean she's shy. If you're new and aren't intimidating, she'll gladly come over and say hello. However when she's with friends, Rory gets more excited than her "calm" usual self. As for when it comes to battle, she's not far from running when she has to, but tries her best to help out unless her flaw(s) kick in, which may make the situation worse. Overall she is a dreamer and an eternal optimist, preferring to look on the bright side of things and never giving up.

Though she's rarely angry, Rory does have another side to her and it's a very scary thing. Her frustrated self is more prone to yelling and her actions become a bit more than rash even though it looks as though she's just flailing her arms and exaggerating with hand gestures. Her fighting self is much, much worse. In short, it would be her with her stubborn flaw maxed to where she charges in at the annoying target and go all out.

Since her time in camp, Rory has now been becoming more serious and is learning to stand up for herself and others, even if it means that a fight might occur. She's starting to realize that no matter how much you try to keep the peace, war is still there, and so accepts it. Now she's determined to fight back whenever necessary if talking it out isn't the first option. Very defensive of her friends and family (half-god siblings included), mess with them and you'll have to answer to her. As a counselor, she also takes her job seriously but still stays true to her own principles and will do anything to help out, be it a confused demigod or one of her own siblings.

Fatal Flaw(s):
Never Gonna Give You Up:
Or in layman's terms, "Stubborn". Rory is a stubborn one when she puts her mind to it. If she finds something she'll believe in, she will stop at nothing to try and prove her point about it. Whether it's clearly wrong or not. This also leads her into getting some trouble with anyone that tries to sway her opinion, because she'll end up doing random things (that usually bite her back in the butt). While this usually happens whenever someone offends her or her family, it can happen in a number of ways. This can also happen whenever she's trying to help someone out or at least trying to be friendly, for she will not stop. At. All. The same can happen if she's pushing herself, such as going to extremes and won't stop even if her own body's ready to give out.

Eager to Please:
Also known as "Self-Sacrificing" to another degree. What this means is that Rory, while usually a pacifist by nature, will go to any means to keep the peace. Whether that be trying to change the subject or finding common ground between two feuding parties. Even if it's harming herself in the process (Such as trying to reason with a monster from attacking her friends, offering herself in their place, anything). Usually appears if someone she's close to is potentially in danger or is getting hurt. She'd rather put herself on the line than have someone else be in the way of fire, and the same can go for her going out of her way to make someone happy.

Don't Worry About It:
As per her second flaw, being Eager to Please, this one also hinders her as she prefers to keep her own problems to herself. Anything distressing her or causing conflict, she'd prefer to handle on her own rather than worrying someone else with it. Again, she wants others to be happy even if it's at the cost of her own. If left unchecked it can easily bottle up and fester inside of her until bursting out at an inconvenient moment. It's a small flaw compared to the other two, but resurfaces now and then when she is at her most emotional and stressed.

Backstory:
All her life, Rory had some kind of hunch she was different. Not in the sense where a parent tells you that you're special because all parents say that...but in the sense that maybe, she was...something.

Hannah, Rory's mother, met Apollo sometime during her days as an intern for the local hospital. This was also during the time when the hospital was in it's early days; it hadn't gained the same publicity that it has today. They met while attending the same Aerosmith concert, and found that they had a lot in common. They shared the same taste in music, both were working in the medical field, and they made plans to hang out later at the Museum. Making an odd couple, he was more care-free while she was more down to earth. But it was a lovely relationship...for the time being. Funny that their romance happened during the whole summer, since by the time it started to get colder, Apollo had to bid her farewell. (His excuse is that during the colder months, it's harder to keep control of the sun because he has to plan when it'll come out and shine). So the song Summer Lovin' really fits these two.

Anyway, months later, Hannah finds that she's with his child and does her best to take care of her. But it was a bit tricky being that her dad's the sun god, there had to be some sort of hint that would appear through her physically, this case being her golden hair. So, she first said it was a very recessive genetic trait, and that was that. (The things you find on the news these days...). Throughout her childhood, Rory managed to make the best of it. When there weren't kids picking fun at her about her hair being a funny color, or her eyes shining in some weird glow during days with extreme sunlight, Rory seemed to be doing okay.

But then around the age of 8 or so, she began to experience weird dreams at night. Each dream would seem very real and sometimes they'd reappear in the world the next day, as if she was predicting the future. Rory's mother tried to help her cope with this by giving her a sketchbook to draw them out, as opposed to paying for Psychiatric help, which would lead to her mom revealing Rory's true father earlier than she planned to. However, the next few years after did go into a spiral, as Rory's dreams became stronger and then occurring when she was awake.

During the time she was turning 14, she met up with a new student in her school who seemed very odd, but introduced himself as Umar Undergrove . He didn't shave, so she thought he must've been held back a couple of years or something, but he claimed to be about 16-17 years old. Despite being skeptical because of his nonhuman-like habits and his appearance making him look older, Rory befriended him. About a few days later from that, they experienced a new art teacher that was was actually a Laistrygonian giant in disguise, with a pair of Myrmekes for pets. It wasn't until the two were called for a private meeting after school by the "Teacher" did they realize what they were, and had to fight to save their skins. Barely escaping from this, Umar revealed to Rory that he was a satyr and was with Camp Half-Blood. She didn't believe him at first, but after school he showed the hooves and... Yep, that's the best explanation there. She took him over to her house to ask her mom about it, and she confirmed what Umar had said. Then her mother took her and Umar to Camp Half-Blood where she has been attending in the summers, as well as off and on during the school year--if the situation requires it..although with the recent events, she has been staying at camp more often.

Since her mother encouraged her to "sketch out" her visions whenever they happened to try and better understand them, Rory has since become quite the artist. Whether this is from over eight years of experience alone or that her father is a God of the Arts, it is a mystery. (In any case, this might come out in her favor one day). Out of all the "arts" her father's domain is over, she prefers over the visual arts such as painting and drawing. She hopes to improve in the Arts and Crafts Cabin at camp and learn any other skills she can along the way.

At home she a labradoodle named Poptart, and a pet mouse named Checkers who has stays with her at camp. Poptart was left at home due to size constraints and Rory didn't want her mother to be lonely while gone.

As much as she loves her mother and enjoys having her all to herself, Rory's conspiring with Thyme to set her mother date Thyme's dad, Austin.

Other Info:
-Both Hands, BBY!-She's ambidextrous; Can write and draw with both hands.

-Named for a Reason- Aurora means Dawn in Latin (or Greek, depending where you looked), but her mother named her this because she was watching Sleeping Beauty before going into labor. She couldn't have the girl named Briar Rose, now could she? This also gave way to her middle name, Rose. So her initials are ARA. (Aurora Rose Anders). The former reason is just a cover up because the latter is silly.

-Sun Child- She doesn't like cold weather and can get cold rather easily. Tends to dress up in layers whenever it gets chilly just to stay pleasantly nice and toasty. Being a child of the sun, she has to feel like the sun and therefore must always be warm. That is to say, she doesn't mind watching snowfall. She'd just rather be indoors or wearing a marshmallow suit if in it.

-Artistic Nature- Usually has a sketchbook or a pencil on her person, but with training and camp life, she keeps them hidden under her bunk in the Apollo cabin. Pretty much brought about five sketchbooks including some regular ones that go into depth about color. She's also fascinated with other pieces of artwork and will not hesitate to try them all. Whether it be visual or musical. She does have some musical skill, but she's more comfortable with a piano.

Has a case of Ophidiophobia - Also known as "Fear of Snakes". Rory has an irrational fear of them, and doesn't like to be near them at all. Even seeing a picture will make her feel uneasy. This fear was quite possibly contracted from the story of Apollo killing Python. Oddly enough, she's not afraid of the dark like most Apollo kids, but being in dark caves or somewhere too far underground with no light makes her uneasy.

-Not a Name-Enthusiast- Due to hurtful teasing at a young age, Rory ates being called "Goldilocks" or "Blondie". Ironically enough, she doesn't mind Umar calling her "Sunshine". It's more positive in her mind.

-She Sounds Like...-She has a very light sounding voice, she's also good at singing. If you find her by herself, she'll most likely be humming some showtune or disney musical number. Tends to dabble between rock, pop, and R&B. (Her voice is somewhere between Auburn and Marie Digby)

-Bit of a Bookworm-Has gotten into books a lot lately, aside from the poetry and art books she's read before. As a counselor she likes to keep up to date with the mythology in case a camper needs help, and because it's fun for her.

-Doodle Me This-Likes to draw on her own clothing for fun.

-Chucks Collector-She has a thing for chuck taylor shoes. High tops, low-tops, she doesn't care. One of her little side goals is collecting them in different colors and patterns.

-Sweet Natured with a Major sweet tooth - :She believes hugs and smiles can help brighten a person's day.It is very easy to get on her good side and she pretty much sees the good in a lot of people (partially due to her flaw). Just a bundle of sugar wrapped inside a human-figure, she also loves sweets...a lot. Especially ice cream and pies.

Inventory:
Hair Sashes & Hat - Has at least a dozen or more of them, all in different colors and patterns. Tends to favor the purple, pink, and floral ones the most. Loves to wear her hair down and tight most of it back with just the hair sash, while also letting the bangs fall in her face. She'll also use them as a makeshift hair tie when training or just for giggles, (always present unless she's wearing her hat).

Earrings- Like her mother, she tends to have a few earrings to wear, some bigger than others. While her mom prefers the Native American-esque shell ones, she prefers hoops or sunflowers.
Sketchbooks - She brought a couple of them with her to camp, but keeps them in her cabin in fear of them getting torn/battered/burned/any other sort of disaster you can think of because being in a War camp, it's dangerous to be toting around a sketchbook. (Only shown through missions that do require it or random sketch-dumps/comics).

Portal Watch- Thanks to Kaylie and her magic, she was given a watch that allows her to be able to travel in and out of camp when Theseus deems it's alright for her and to go to school.

Nifty Knapsack- A gift made by Praxis, it functions as normal bag but with extended capacity and stability. It's also durable against minor damage and mildly-self repair. She can charge the sun motif with light if she wishes. There is an anchor clasp on the front that she can attach Checkers' ball to and tote him around. Magical Pouch - Capture the Flag Prize; a magic pouch that can summon nectar and ambrosia three times. Each portion of nectar and ambrosia is good for only one time, and can be used for herself or those that she chooses if she doesn't need it.

-The Name Game: Name-Poems can give off a calling sense for back-up; The person will get a nudge or prick in the back of their mind that she's calling for them to come. They must be within her radius of effect for this to work.
-Rhyme in Time: Speaking in some sort of a Rhyme will make them catchy and they can cause someone else to start rhyming.
-There Once Was a Man...: Limericks can cause healing or plague, emotionally. By this, if the Limerick is funny or at least very light in tone and story, then the effected person(s) will become happy and start to laugh. But if it's sad in any sort of way, then they will become sad and possibly cry.
-Sleepy Sonnets: Sonnets can have the effect of making someone fall asleep.
Note: The only poems that are not effected by this are the ones in her blessing..

Blessings:
1st BLESSING: The Healing Book
For Rory’s first blessing, she has been given a poetry book, with poems that can heal. There are only 6 poems in all, each with a different degree in healing:
Poem 1: "Small little cut, be not so sore. Reverse and clean up to be good like before."
--Heals minor cuts.
Poem 2: "Quite a large slash, all red and a mess. This better go away before it becomes too grotesque."
--Heals major cuts and any kinds of burns.
Poem 3:"Broken bones willl never do. Please oh please become one and not two."
--Heals Minor fractures and broken bones.
Poem 4"Rest thy head for the slumber to come, think of something else that's nice until I am done."
--Heals major fractures and spinal injuries
Poem 5 "Oh dear, what now, are you all right? Sheesh man, this injury could take all night."
--Heals concussions and internal bleeding or any internal damage.
Poem 6 "Your body has cried and asked for help, so just stay still and then you won't yelp."
--Cures generic diseases (ie: Flu, Common cold, Headache/Stomach-ache eetc.) but not life-threatening ones (such as cancer or AIDS). This poem can also slow down poisonous effects in the body, such as delaying it's effects so one could get treatment.

2nd BLESSING: The Plagued Sword
For this blessing, Rory will receive a sword with a poisonous tip. The first person or monster she attacks with it will feel continuous pain for a duration of 30 minutes. It can only be used on one person or monster at a time. This blessing levels up by how many people she can use the effect of the sword on, time limit, and different effects that the sword can cause.

Personality:
Generally optimistic and easy-going, Rory is pretty much that one person anyone knows that gives a grin with a smile and seems to give everyone a "clean slate", meaning unless she gets to know you, you're fine with her. Being a child of the sun, Rory does get a bit excited over things, especially the ones that deal with the new, silly or cute stuff, like a small animal or seeing a new power. Not one to yell, Rory is also a bit soft spoken, but this doesn't mean she's shy. If you're new and aren't intimidating, she'll gladly come over and say hello. However when she's with friends, Rory gets more excited than her "calm" usual self. As for when it comes to battle, she's not far from running when she has to, but tries her best to help out unless her flaw(s) kick in, which may make the situation worse. Overall she is a dreamer and an eternal optimist, preferring to look on the bright side of things and never giving up.

Though she's rarely angry, Rory does have another side to her and it's a very scary thing. Her frustrated self is more prone to yelling and her actions become a bit more than rash even though it looks as though she's just flailing her arms and exaggerating with hand gestures. Her fighting self is much, much worse. In short, it would be her with her stubborn flaw maxed to where she charges in at the annoying target and go all out.

Since her time in camp, Rory has now been becoming more serious and is learning to stand up for herself and others, even if it means that a fight might occur. She's starting to realize that no matter how much you try to keep the peace, war is still there, and so accepts it. Now she's determined to fight back whenever necessary if talking it out isn't the first option. Very defensive of her friends and family (half-god siblings included), mess with them and you'll have to answer to her. As a counselor, she also takes her job seriously but still stays true to her own principles and will do anything to help out, be it a confused demigod or one of her own siblings.

Fatal Flaw(s):
Never Gonna Give You Up:
Or in layman's terms, "Stubborn". Rory is a stubborn one when she puts her mind to it. If she finds something she'll believe in, she will stop at nothing to try and prove her point about it. Whether it's clearly wrong or not. This also leads her into getting some trouble with anyone that tries to sway her opinion, because she'll end up doing random things (that usually bite her back in the butt). While this usually happens whenever someone offends her or her family, it can happen in a number of ways. This can also happen whenever she's trying to help someone out or at least trying to be friendly, for she will not stop. At. All. The same can happen if she's pushing herself, such as going to extremes and won't stop even if her own body's ready to give out.

Eager to Please:
Also known as "Self-Sacrificing" to another degree. What this means is that Rory, while usually a pacifist by nature, will go to any means to keep the peace. Whether that be trying to change the subject or finding common ground between two feuding parties. Even if it's harming herself in the process (Such as trying to reason with a monster from attacking her friends, offering herself in their place, anything). Usually appears if someone she's close to is potentially in danger or is getting hurt. She'd rather put herself on the line than have someone else be in the way of fire, and the same can go for her going out of her way to make someone happy.

Don't Worry About It:
As per her second flaw, being Eager to Please, this one also hinders her as she prefers to keep her own problems to herself. Anything distressing her or causing conflict, she'd prefer to handle on her own rather than worrying someone else with it. Again, she wants others to be happy even if it's at the cost of her own. If left unchecked it can easily bottle up and fester inside of her until bursting out at an inconvenient moment. It's a small flaw compared to the other two, but resurfaces now and then when she is at her most emotional and stressed.

Backstory:
All her life, Rory had some kind of hunch she was different. Not in the sense where a parent tells you that you're special because all parents say that...but in the sense that maybe, she was...something.

Hannah, Rory's mother, met Apollo sometime during her days as an intern for the local hospital. This was also during the time when the hospital was in it's early days; it hadn't gained the same publicity that it has today. They met while attending the same Aerosmith concert, and found that they had a lot in common. They shared the same taste in music, both were working in the medical field, and they made plans to hang out later at the Museum. Making an odd couple, he was more care-free while she was more down to earth. But it was a lovely relationship...for the time being. Funny that their romance happened during the whole summer, since by the time it started to get colder, Apollo had to bid her farewell. (His excuse is that during the colder months, it's harder to keep control of the sun because he has to plan when it'll come out and shine). So the song Summer Lovin' really fits these two.

Anyway, months later, Hannah finds that she's with his child and does her best to take care of her. But it was a bit tricky being that her dad's the sun god, there had to be some sort of hint that would appear through her physically, this case being her golden hair. So, she first said it was a very recessive genetic trait, and that was that. (The things you find on the news these days...). Throughout her childhood, Rory managed to make the best of it. When there weren't kids picking fun at her about her hair being a funny color, or her eyes shining in some weird glow during days with extreme sunlight, Rory seemed to be doing okay.

But then around the age of 8 or so, she began to experience weird dreams at night. Each dream would seem very real and sometimes they'd reappear in the world the next day, as if she was predicting the future. Rory's mother tried to help her cope with this by giving her a sketchbook to draw them out, as opposed to paying for Psychiatric help, which would lead to her mom revealing Rory's true father earlier than she planned to. However, the next few years after did go into a spiral, as Rory's dreams became stronger and then occurring when she was awake.

During the time she was turning 14, she met up with a new student in her school who seemed very odd, but introduced himself as Umar Undergrove . He didn't shave, so she thought he must've been held back a couple of years or something, but he claimed to be about 16-17 years old. Despite being skeptical because of his nonhuman-like habits and his appearance making him look older, Rory befriended him. About a few days later from that, they experienced a new art teacher that was was actually a Laistrygonian giant in disguise, with a pair of Myrmekes for pets. It wasn't until the two were called for a private meeting after school by the "Teacher" did they realize what they were, and had to fight to save their skins. Barely escaping from this, Umar revealed to Rory that he was a satyr and was with Camp Half-Blood. She didn't believe him at first, but after school he showed the hooves and... Yep, that's the best explanation there. She took him over to her house to ask her mom about it, and she confirmed what Umar had said. Then her mother took her and Umar to Camp Half-Blood where she has been attending in the summers, as well as off and on during the school year--if the situation requires it..although with the recent events, she has been staying at camp more often.

Since her mother encouraged her to "sketch out" her visions whenever they happened to try and better understand them, Rory has since become quite the artist. Whether this is from over eight years of experience alone or that her father is a God of the Arts, it is a mystery. (In any case, this might come out in her favor one day). Out of all the "arts" her father's domain is over, she prefers over the visual arts such as painting and drawing. She hopes to improve in the Arts and Crafts Cabin at camp and learn any other skills she can along the way.

At home she a labradoodle named Poptart, and a pet mouse named Checkers who has stays with her at camp. Poptart was left at home due to size constraints and Rory didn't want her mother to be lonely while gone.

As much as she loves her mother and enjoys having her all to herself, Rory's conspiring with Thyme to set her mother date Thyme's dad, Austin.

Other Info:
-Both Hands, BBY!-She's ambidextrous; Can write and draw with both hands.

-Named for a Reason- Aurora means Dawn in Latin (or Greek, depending where you looked), but her mother named her this because she was watching Sleeping Beauty before going into labor. She couldn't have the girl named Briar Rose, now could she? This also gave way to her middle name, Rose. So her initials are ARA. (Aurora Rose Anders). The former reason is just a cover up because the latter is silly.

-Sun Child- She doesn't like cold weather and can get cold rather easily. Tends to dress up in layers whenever it gets chilly just to stay pleasantly nice and toasty. Being a child of the sun, she has to feel like the sun and therefore must always be warm. That is to say, she doesn't mind watching snowfall. She'd just rather be indoors or wearing a marshmallow suit if in it.

-Artistic Nature- Usually has a sketchbook or a pencil on her person, but with training and camp life, she keeps them hidden under her bunk in the Apollo cabin. Pretty much brought about five sketchbooks including some regular ones that go into depth about color. She's also fascinated with other pieces of artwork and will not hesitate to try them all. Whether it be visual or musical. She does have some musical skill, but she's more comfortable with a piano.

Has a case of Ophidiophobia - Also known as "Fear of Snakes". Rory has an irrational fear of them, and doesn't like to be near them at all. Even seeing a picture will make her feel uneasy. This fear was quite possibly contracted from the story of Apollo killing Python. Oddly enough, she's not afraid of the dark like most Apollo kids, but being in dark caves or somewhere too far underground with no light makes her uneasy.

-Not a Name-Enthusiast- Due to hurtful teasing at a young age, Rory ates being called "Goldilocks" or "Blondie". Ironically enough, she doesn't mind Umar calling her "Sunshine". It's more positive in her mind.

-She Sounds Like...-She has a very light sounding voice, she's also good at singing. If you find her by herself, she'll most likely be humming some showtune or disney musical number. Tends to dabble between rock, pop, and R&B. (Her voice is somewhere between Auburn and Marie Digby)

-Bit of a Bookworm-Has gotten into books a lot lately, aside from the poetry and art books she's read before. As a counselor she likes to keep up to date with the mythology in case a camper needs help, and because it's fun for her.

-Doodle Me This-Likes to draw on her own clothing for fun.

-Chucks Collector-She has a thing for chuck taylor shoes. High tops, low-tops, she doesn't care. One of her little side goals is collecting them in different colors and patterns.

-Sweet Natured with a Major sweet tooth - :She believes hugs and smiles can help brighten a person's day.It is very easy to get on her good side and she pretty much sees the good in a lot of people (partially due to her flaw). Just a bundle of sugar wrapped inside a human-figure, she also loves sweets...a lot. Especially ice cream and pies.

Inventory:
Hair Sashes & Hat - Has at least a dozen or more of them, all in different colors and patterns. Tends to favor the purple, pink, and floral ones the most. Loves to wear her hair down and tight most of it back with just the hair sash, while also letting the bangs fall in her face. She'll also use them as a makeshift hair tie when training or just for giggles, (always present unless she's wearing her hat).

Earrings- Like her mother, she tends to have a few earrings to wear, some bigger than others. While her mom prefers the Native American-esque shell ones, she prefers hoops or sunflowers.
Sketchbooks - She brought a couple of them with her to camp, but keeps them in her cabin in fear of them getting torn/battered/burned/any other sort of disaster you can think of because being in a War camp, it's dangerous to be toting around a sketchbook. (Only shown through missions that do require it or random sketch-dumps/comics).

Portal Watch- Thanks to Kaylie and her magic, she was given a watch that allows her to be able to travel in and out of camp when Theseus deems it's alright for her and to go to school.

Nifty Knapsack- A gift made by Praxis, it functions as normal bag but with extended capacity and stability. It's also durable against minor damage and mildly-self repair. She can charge the sun motif with light if she wishes. There is an anchor clasp on the front that she can attach Checkers' ball to and tote him around. Magical Pouch - Capture the Flag Prize; a magic pouch that can summon nectar and ambrosia three times. Each portion of nectar and ambrosia is good for only one time, and can be used for herself or those that she chooses if she doesn't need it.

Ribbon and Personal Mug - Isis was kind enough to create some gift baskets for the labyrinth survivors and Rory received one as well. The food's clearly eaten and long gone, but she's kept the mug and the decorative ribbon. As seen here: [link]
