This remind me of the true event in December of 1914, when British and German troop, talk to each other, during an unofficial truce, found out just how alike there all.

There was a scene in the movie "All Quiet on the Western Front" where the protagonist, Paul Bäumer, realizes a similar message while he was stuck in no man's land for a day with a dying French soldier that he himself stabbed during the charge.

yep, mate i know that movie. German is killing frenchmen, and french is killing germans. German films about their world wars is more truthful than any others.
