Description
Yankee Doodle went to town
Riding on a pony,
stuck a feather in his hat
and called it macaroni!
"..."
"Steady, men. Fix bayonets! Fire at will!"
"Sir, yes sir!"
"Get back here you lobster boys! Come and get some more, english bastards!"
"Yeah, run and hide under your mommy's skirts, ya limey buggers, we'll get you there anyway you cowards!"
A couple of days and few hours of painting with pens and crayons, awww bugger my fingers are cold.
Cheers, folks.

It fascinated me how the Brits wrote the song "Yankee Doodle" as a way to insult us, but we took the song and made it our own.

AAhhhh.... The day the U.S. based on flawed info from politicians did the bgest and best slap to english monarchy and noble pricks!
Gotta love Jefferson and the Patriots!
And was also the catalyst and example that gave the impetus for what once was British North America (A.K.A. Canada) to ask for independance and not be treated as second class citizens of the british commonwealth! That's one of the few major differences in history that define the two twin nations Of United States of America and Canada, One went independant with a BANG! And the other asked for independance. Other than that, the the two really are brother nations despite Superiorty/infiriority complex that grip the said countries!
How long did this piece take?

Interesting note, that if General Arnold (later on defected to the limey) wouldn't got wounded during Quebec campaign, the Canada could became American that day.

The U.S. Navy could've won aainst the British navy stationed in the Gaspe in the war of 1812 with their giagantic battleships but they couden't do anything without giving away their positions to Tecumse's men and the other allied first nation's!
Probably too many of the Iroqious and Mohawk were present in that territory that they eventualy spotted where their hardware was and in the middle of nights raided and burnt the ships to the ground, thus destroying any chance that they could've had the upper hand!
And had it not been for the fact Tecumse was left in the thick of battle to battle the Americans by himself and his men because Brits fleed like cowards they were.
They might have won more battle's/terroritory than just Michigan!
But it was thank's to Tecumse's efforts that he bought enough time for Brocke's army to come in and finally push back the American offensive.
It's just a shame that Tecumse's grand vision of the Grand Confederacy encompassing all the Native People's across the American Contitent didn't fully get realised until many more centuries down the road! Afterall the American Natives experienced many brutal wars/treachery later down the road by the sucssesive American governments!
You have to remember the Quebecois French people/Settlers didn't want to be a part America unlike Louisiana because the British did sign the Quebec accord which would garuntee the language be preserved in the region and they felt that if were to defect to Americans as Washington hoped they would just overthrow the British within deep in Quebec and they would just march in!
Hence tying into what Jefferson thought. ("The war would be just a march!")
It's kinda of a similiar tatic that Putin is using in Ukraine to take territory without too much of an army! The problem was every he went his men like General Washington did in 1775, (He thought the people would welcome him as liberators!)
Instead the people just said; "Who are you?!"

Nope. The Yankee nation builded up the railroads and cities from coast to coast, declared the ideas of liberty and democracy, turned those who were once the slaves into equals, helped to crush red thread with fascists, established the star-spangled banner on the moon etc, etc, etc.
American revolution won, mate. It totally worth it.

Yes we did all those things, but here is the truth. The railroads and cities were built by the hands of immigrants that were treat horribly and had laws passed so that some couldn't come. The ideas of liberty and democracy were put on the shelf many times. People won elections that weren't suppose to because of the elector college and many times in the past the US has crushed democracy. We had slaves much, much longer then the English while we did free them it took them many years to get equal rights and even today there is a lot of racism in the US. While we did crush the Nazi's many American's were fascists and there was almost a fascist coup in America. I will give the you the flag on the moon. I'm not saying the British were all that good, they could be just as bad as us. But many peoples would have been better if we hadn't declared our independence.

Immigrants from Russia, Europe, Africa and Asia in the majority were happy to work on the construction sites, serving in the US army and toil in the sweatshops because were abandoned in their so called "Homeland", in America their children didn't starve or be enslaved by fascists or commies.
American nation has already paid the terrible price for the slavery with the lifes of 600000 of fallen patriots. And racism... even in Russia people hate each other but it is not only for the color of skin.
About fascist coup - didn't you know that in WW two russians had a nazi army, supported by Hitler? So, nobody's perfect.
Independence is the greatest gift and most precious too.

We bring up good points and we might never know what would have happened if the US lost the revolution. Historians debate what would have happened. Just let me say this.
We had child labor up until around the early 1920's. In the US we hate each other because of religion, sexual oration, political views, color of skin, family past, the way someone talks and if someone says something wrong. We did send many to die to stop slavery, including a great president, but many of those men were racist. I did not know the Nazi Army in the Russia. What was that called.

Российская освободительная армия. РОА.
Russian liberation army, led by former general Vlasov. They use classic russian flag of nowadays kremlin fascists. You've send many men to stop slavery. And you've stopped it.
Every nation used child labour one hundred years ago. American hate is no match for russian hate. When we hate something it destroy us to ground, so your hate is just a bad mood if you compare it with us.
Lemme tell you what would had happened if you've lost - new aristocracy of British officers and loyalists took over the political power in the former American states, destroying the civil society and creating new serfdom system. Americans would uprise again a little bit later, along with french or 80 years later with another banner.

I will give you the top one but not the bottom one. Even in are timeline the US had aristocracy and still has one in some respects. Are government is controlled by the rich, wealthy and special entrust groups. We don't get anything done . Serfdom I don't think so because look at Canada, we are similar in many ways. Our histories can be similar. We both were British colonies that gained independence, granted Canada is still part of in the UK. Yeah maybe the colonist would have rebelled again but I still think it would fail. Plus France might have been better to. They got in so much debate because of the US, which helped fuel the French Revolution, and cause much of todays problems for the US and world.

Revolutionists and revolutionary violence is always good against old regimes. Thus, Americans deserve their right to be free.
Plus even Canadians uprised against british crown in 19th century, because they didn't wanted to be a second class citizens.

If this is a war for Independence picture why does Britain's flag on the bottom have Saint Patrick's cross on it? Nitpicking yes but it's a pet peeve.
