This is from way back, actually. Like 2008 way back (whoa, so like...three years ago)...so like, some stuff is a bit off/could be better...still, pretty happy with it, seeing as it was one of my earlier pixel pieces (probably the first finished one).It doesn't look exactly like the Miyazaki one because I didn't use referece. Or like. Remembered the castle in the film at all, apparently.
BED; I NEEDS IT.
Also, the book Howl's Moving Castle needs to be read more. Seriously. Everyone loves the film but I don't think they know about the book which is too bad, because Diane Wynne-jones is a very good writer - one of them classic fantasy writers, y'know - and well, it won't be like the film because Miyazaki changed stuff, buuuut...I liked it anyhow (I think I may have liked it BECAUSE most people will be like, ew, Howl's such a player in this one and I don't wanna hear about Sophie's sisters I HATE THIS BOOK EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FIRST BECAUSE MIYAZAKI IS LE SUPER GENIUS AND CAN DO NO WRONG AND I HATE CHANGE BECAUSE IT'S SCARY...not to hate on Miyazaki or anything)

oh no, I LOVED the book, I'm putting out that disclaimer because most fans of the movie seem to really want the book to be exactly like the movie, and it isn't
