hrm so, this is the first page of my comic thing from last year.
I really liked the lineart, but kind of massively failed on the colouring because 1) the pen was not waterproof (ffffss what kind of pen is not waterproof? even ballpoint pens are waterproof!) and 2)I sort of messed up colouring the water (the white floaty things are supposed to be blue; I accidentally coloured the foam in my grief about the non-water-proof-ness of my shiny new pen)

The second page is slightly better, colouring-wise, buuut...if I post it, it'll ruin the story (it goes too fast, also, which is why I'm re-doing these either way). Eh, we'll see.
