that's pixelart for you (bigger pieces take so looong)...I thought about expanding the canvas upward to show more of the tree, but I haven't gone back to this yet

well, pixel art is usually done one pixel at a time, and you're not supposed to use opacity and stuff like that...so it'd be too time consuming ('s why stuff like this [link] is kind of mind blowing, lol)
