Butterstar was leader of Rainclan, a rivaling clan to Original BrineClan
Butterstar was known for being obsessively kind and nurturing. Many cats thoughts she was weak due to the fact she was a kitty pet named Butterbean before she joined Rainclan and climbed the ranks to leader. She is very much a pacifist and gave away much of Rainclan's territory to avoid conflict. She never once had a mate and felt like her life was unfulfilled. She died alone when her clan abandoned her to go to the BrineClan sanctuary. She contracted Greencough that took many of her lives before her last few were taken when she froze to death in the snow. In StarClan her happy demeanor has been taken by the way she died. She is now timid and quiet, hardly ever speaks unless spoken to.

She does not help the New BrineClan efforts and stays very far away from any cats that were once part of her clan or any of her rival clans.
