As we walked by the USS Midway this little scooner that belongs here in San Diego was sailing by. All i know is that it is not the California (That is a topsail scooner)To see a ship moving as calmly through the water as a sailing ship does is quite nice. I do hope you enjoy this image.

This is the "America"... It's a replica of the original yacht named America that won the Royal Yacht Squadron Cup (aka Queen's Cup, or 100 Guinea Cup, or the America's Cup, and finally the Auld Mug).
This replica is owned by Dennis Connor (yeah, that guy) and is available for public charters and day sails... including whale watches during Grey whale migration season.
