Description
I recommend downloading for full size!It might take a while to load though, the full picture is like 7 mb... O.o
It's a map of Contineo! :3 Thought it miht be fun to have as the story unfurls...
Made with ink and calligraphy pens with dip-tips, watercolor pencils, pastel pencils and pastel paper. As I realized I couldn't write so small with my pens I added some place-names digitally, I'm sure you can tell where..... I tried to make it look like a geologically believable place, you tell me if it was worth it! And I also spent pretty much the whole day coming up with good names for (storywise) minor rivers and mountains! It's harder than it sounds...
I'd love to explain everything, but that would take pages of text. So basically, it's Contineo, the lion's territory in my story "the Shadowtainted". The red upside-down triangles are lion "settlements", the blue one is the leopards' (SABER leopards').
White is areas which are permanently covered in snow and glaciers. And yellow is.. permanent sandy desert...
In the first storyboard Abeo and Jocundra arrive nearby the Northern vantage point (or just Northern point). That's where it all starts! You who've read the origins will also maybe recognize the Asperitas and Dracortia at the very right... And also maybe some of the major places mentioned, like the Secu's caves (here called The Head).
Hopefully you'll discover more of those places in this map in the next storyboard!
SEE YAH!

This is a great work of cartography! it's also an interesting composition of a continent, very spiky!

It's great to see a map which is actually drawn on real paper, and does not only try to fake the look I like it very much, great colors and an interesting shape!

Am I right in thinking that the hot and cold deserts are uninhabited?
