This piece was done astonishingly well. The figure standing in front was placed perfectly in relation to the crashed ship. It gives a great feel of proportion and momentum between the two pieces and adds more impact to the overall picture. It also demonstrates a wonderful use of three-dimensionality and perspective that livens the picture and makes the ship seem even larger in comparison to the human. It was also clever of you to add the stone blocks under the ship to further exemplify the fact that it crashed into the stone block floor with much ferocity. This brings me to the more natural part of the piece: the ruins and the water. The background and surroundings you chose have a perfect effect of gargantuan carvings and epic monoliths designed by some lost civilization that had once lived and breathed among the massive stone walls. The water coming down on top of the ship is first of all done very realistically and looks completely natural, but it also adds to the feel of the ruins and the ancientness. It takes the mind on a journey of what happened to bring us to this moment, this scene, and many a story could be created from it. Finally, the color scheme. Color is very important in art as it can convey many different feelings for one thing. You could have chosen warm earth tones or mossy greens, but the bluish-greenish grey you have chosen works excellently for this scene and interacts with the environment quite nicely. It again gives the desolate ruined sense of foggy mystery shrouding the picture. It also works well with the lighting you used on the ship, accentuating the bit of apparent color on the underside. Overall, I think this was very well done. Congratulations on making it to featured!

Oh! I thought you meant the guy was practising moving the ship and crashed it.
But.... if this is practice for you, what is 'art' for you????
