Valeria hadn't been in Nguvu for very long, just over a year. She was barely out of her adolescence when she fled Ibutho and found herself here. From what she'd heard about her new home, they had recently lost a war and were forced into making changes quicker than many of the pride members could adapt to. She'd also heard things were... not so good for the ladies here. Not much different to home, huh?

So when the call came, Valeria just had to see what all the fuss was about. She listened carefully as the upstart gave his speech, how the rapid changes Kito was introducing were too much too soon, how it made the pride weak. Valeria couldn't help but roll her eyes and scoff. Change did not slow down for anyone, and if you couldn't adapt quickly enough, you were better off dead. That's how it was in Ibutho, and how it should be here. It seemed Nguvu was indeed weak if they were unable to adapt. However, it seemed many were with this lion and moved to support him, to take back what was theirs.

But not Valeria. Oh, if she was going to support anyone, she needed a reason why. She stepped forward and looked up at the male before her. Unwavering, unmoving.

"What makes YOU think you're the best option, huh? Why should we, or myself, support you? As far as I'm understanding, you can't adapt. That itself is a weakness. Change slows down for no lion, not even you. So tell me, why should I support someone as weak as you?"

She's not chosing a side without answers. ANd she will get them, however she has to.
