"What kind of things?"

"They said that you viewed the lionesses as lesser, only good for bearing children. There was apparently an announcement where you told the rest of the pride to... to steal cubs..."

"Hmmm, perhaps they misunderstood. Nguvu suffered immensely in the flood, and now from this illness. We must rebuild. Yes, there was an announcement, but it was to recruit others, even adopt orphans if you come across one. No kidnapping. Nor do I view the lionesses as lesser, without you, Nguvu would not exist."

It was a half-truth at best. Lionesses were crucial to the survival of Nguvu, but he did view them as lesser. And he absolutely did encourage kidnapping, but Hisada has no intention to ruin the image Minentle has of him.

"I knew it! I knew it was just a misunderstanding!"

And then she hugged him. Hugged him. Ahri would never let him live this down.
