lol, what did I just say?! Makes absolutely no sense!

haha, anyway, here's what I have been up to in recent weeks. I along with some friends have decided to learn how to use Adobe After Effects CS4. This is the result..... so far.

I used Kahoru's face from [link] and created a bunch of vector based shapes which I've later animated across 10 seconds. This was quite fun to do and I'm definitively going to do more animations in the future. Might lower the amounts of FPS and the size of the pictures in order to make them lighter.

I will be going back to the picture in AECS4 and will try to include, textures, shadows and hopefully more varied expresions. I'm even planning to do a partial or perhaps even a full rotation of the head sideways and up and down. The awesome thing is that I can export these animation to a number of formats including video so I could include some sounds and music in future projects.

Anyway, I'm still drawing stuff. Don't worry. It's just that lately the comic project I'm doing with the same friends has taken up much more time. Now we're dedicating it some 12 weekly hours to it because we want to get sh*t done ASAP. Once we got solid stuff to publish, I'll let you guys know what the whole secret project is about.

Aside from that, I just want to mention that my internet connection has been down since last week. So I haven't been able to reply to all the comments and notes I've been getting. In case you wonder, I'm uploading this from a Cyber-cafe. But it's pretty expensive so I have to limit my time greatly.

But once I'm back online, I'll get to all your comments ASAP.
