Hey gals and guys. Just dumping another "sketch" I've just finished.

Another character concept for a game/book story project that I want to work on in the future. No name set so "serious chick" might as well go for now haha.

These sketches are looking more and more like proper pictures hahaha. Like I said before, I'm using these to practice again my coloring techniques. As you can see I'm still working on this cell shading style of coloring and I'm starting to get some good results. I still see some room for improvement in the near future so I will sticking with this style for the time being and maybe even use it for when I start making more detailed pictures. This is definitively a lot better than the previous concept so I will try to keep up the effort.

I'm also happy with the time I took working on this. I've started drawing it on the 2nd and the coloring on the 3rd. Finished by the 5th. And that considering that I was mostly experimenting. It's always a slow process to try a new style of coloring that you're not used to. Having said that I am getting a liking for this.

I still need to practice more facial expressions. The current quality of them leaves something to be desired. Maybe I should just draw a new sheet just with new expressions in the near future.

Not much to add really. Camo was made using the Flora camouflage brushes you can find in my Camo brushes pack here: www.deviantart.com/panzerfire/…

I've also decided to reduce the size of the final drawing before uploading because I noticed that DevianArt tends to considerably reduce the quality of JPGs when resizing. So you see the picture at full resolution without (I hope) any loss of quality. I will resubmit the previous picture with a smaller one to hopefully fix the loss of quality.
