Yay! Yet another deviation finished! Featuring again a soldier of the Rikujō Jieitai (JGSDF).
This time is an updated version of my OC Kahoru Kawasaki (Name can still be changed 'though). No more red-haired and now she has a more natural black hair as its more typical for Japanese women.
She's a Itto Rikui (Captain) in the JGSDF.

Here she can be seen in action (Whetter it's just practice or an actual combat can be debated ) holding a slighty modified Howa Type 89 Assault Rifle. This rifle can have a M203 Grenade Launcher attached to it (Although it's not very frequent). Also complementing the weapon there is a EOTech sight device.
It's not the common Type 89 you'll see a JGSDF soldier holding but such variant is possible

I'm quite happy with this work although there are parts about the lineart that I think I should start improving soon. I failed to draw a background and therefore I had to improvise one using solely PhotoShop brushes.
Talking about brushes I have to give credits for the following brushes.
First to myself... why? Because this is the first work in which I used my own made Flecktarn brushes They suit in like a glove To get my Flecktarn brushes follow this panzerfire.deviantart.com/art/…
provided grunge, sand, distressed, vegetation and cloud brushes.
I also used Ro_Stock grunge scratches brushes to add some more realism to the rifle.

Next on my list of stuff to do is another JGSDF related project. Remember the Type 10 drawing? Well that's next.
This one might take a little longer than the last couple of projects due that this drawing will be complemented with several helicopter vector arts. I'm also gonna try some new effects which I hope will make of that project an awesome picture
And then.... big pause of incoming projects. I think I'll need a lot of time to come up with a mecha drawing T_T It's frustrating. So it'll take me a while to come up with a new set of lineart of my own projects and your requests.
