Description
A "shove" of large ice slabs [many over six feet tall] along the shoreline of Peninsula State Park in Door County, Wisconsin. We had been here a month ago for our first experience of these massive ice structures and been overwhelmed with the sheer size and beauty. We knew we had to return... and we were rewarded with a break in the weather, continually changing light and some ice conditions that we had never even heard about. The variety of our photo opportunities in still blows my mind. On the other side of this narrow peninsula is Cave Point Park with it's bazillions of icicle formations and "pancake ice"... which I hope to start processing soon.

Now that is some stunning light! Well done for your patience, a lot of people would have taken the first shot and gone home. It really pays to wait for the conditions to change, well done!

I suggest doing focus slices and merging them together with Helicon Focus... It would help your landscape shots F/11 at foreground midground and background would be cool to see here, but maybe even 5ish slices at different focal points. Anyhoo check out Helicon focus and have fun playin with it
