Life isn't meant to be fair
Caressing hands should be slapped away
So why'd you say you care?
And why should I let you stay?
The hand that feeds
Is bitten and torn
Ignoring the misuse and proceeds
But in return it's broken and worn
Kindness never ceases to amaze
It's ignorance by another name
But will often leave you in a daze
Making you think you're losing life's game
The hand that feeds has many needs
Those that are rarely expressed
The hands impatience will grow like weeds
Greed is a parasite but you're the pest
Clawed
Shattered
Mended
Flawed
Battered
Ended
The hand that feeds
It bleeds..
Drenched in remorse like no other
For treating an inhuman being like a brother
