Okay, in the middle of coloring in a finish my Wonder Woman pic that i've been working on for ages...I decided to take a breather and do a mid-piece, simple and fun!

Thus I went back to FF and decided to highlight the boys who fight and have fun doing it. Sure they might angst here and there and have issues to resolve, but they do it with a smile and carefree attitude that rocks some serious style. That and I realize my anti-hero phase is now long behind me and like my fantasy heroes sans all the baggage, or at least able to do what needs to be done despite said baggage. So here's to the Lads!

Bartz (V): the professional adventurer!
Zidane (IX): the master thief!
Tidus (X): the consummate athlete!
Vaan (XII): the ragamuffin-turned-sky pirate!

Of these, my favorite is actually just Zidane and Bartz. But thanks to some extra time in Dissidia and other side games, Vaan and Tidus earned my respects as well. And yes, this does consider that Tidus had serious daddy issues and that Vaan for all intents and purposes didn't even belong in his debut game. The four together have personalities that mesh well with each other with great attitudes and upbeat outlooks.

Hope y'all enjoy it! For a simple piece, it took longer than I thought. I also tried experimenting with skin tones on this one, hope it shows.

Oh! and I give special honorary mentions to Zack (VII) and Snow (XIII) who I tried to fit in but ultimately chose not to.

-Utensils- .5 non-photo blue leads, .5 standard lead mechanical pencil, assorted Prismacolor markers, Photoshop
-Working Time- 2 hrs. penciling, 2 hr. inking and cleanup, 4 hrs. coloring and Photoshopping. Total: 8 hrs.
