YEAH.THIS HAPPENED.
YEAH.
the new movie was SO GOOD.
and inspired me to dig deeper into TOS. I WAS SO CASUAL BEFORE, AND NOW I CANT STOP. DAMN YOU JJ ABRAMS. also space is wonderful more scifi scenery plis.
GUH Chekov and Uhura and Sulu and Scottyyy were all so good and MCCOY WAS SPOT ON PERFECT. NO JOKES. He was the best. and KIRK OF COURSE ROFL I love him. Pine's made the character.. more likable I think <<; sorry shatner I still love you >>;
AS for Spock I still loved him but.. he was a bit too pissy and condescending for my tastes. And now that he's lost his mother and planet his character'll diverge even farther away from TOS!Spock <<; maybe he's just young? I'll try harder to like him as a separate character but I still miss old Spock >>;;
also I love anyone who understands the last picture ;D

This is so incredibly cute! I love that I'm not the only fan out there who knows that Takei didn't invite Shatner to his wedding.
And Koenig as the best man. I am such a shipper of Sulu and Chekov in TOS and the new movie. So I was like "That's not fair to him. HE LOVED YOU!!!" Even though that's just the rambling of a crazed fangirl.

Feeling better with each passing day. I got back from California a little over a week ago, and I've been struggling trying to figure out what to do with myself until SEPTEMBER 3

Okay, I've been debating whether or not to get a job. Whenever I ask someone, I get the whole "don't do it, you don't want to do it, enjoy your summer" thing, which isn't bad advice admittedly, but I still get antsy on days where I do nothing of value. I think it's more that I need an indulgence/hobby than a job; just something to keep me busy, ya know? My dad suggested fishing, although that seems more like a "let's do this twice this whole summer" kind of thing (but still fun; fishing is goddamn relaxing.)
I guess I've just been hanging out with friends and keeping in touch, though, which isn't all too bad. OH, and I climbed a mountain the other day 
Also, the cloudy days suck; I miss the California sun, although the weather has gotten more fierce lately (hail, lightning, wtf.)
OKAY AND THAT'S MY NOVEL ON SUMMER VACATION. What have you been doing to keep busy? :3

ROFL WELL, if you don't need a job or extra money then I definitely wouldn't get one rofl. ENJOY SUMMER AND YOUTH AND FREEDOM. Once you enter college its all FUTURE FUTURE FUTURE WORK CAREER OH FUCK so take advantage of having little responsibilities. If you're really that restless, at least go for an internship.
Climbed a mountain?! WHAAAT. That sounds pretty epic!! 8D And hail and lightening is epic too rofl Alaska sounds like fun.
