Such an interesting and clever technique! It gives a very dynamic feel to the composition as if the tree is expanding towards the spectator. Great work!

Hi, eye catching as always. Do you use markers for such strokes?

In fact I do! In this case it was a regular copic marker, black, using the broad tip. When it gets dry you can almost use it like a pencil. As you can see from the size of the strokes, the picture is quite large, about 40 cm wide. Lately I love drawing bigger and bigger, it frees everything up and you can kind of "enter" your picture deeper. My job as a storyboard artist keeps me at thumbnail size most of the time...
