Under the sea, under the sea, everythings better everythings wetter, blah blah blah.This illustration was inspired by an drawing I did as a kid. I might upload the side by side comparison at some point on my blog.
I put this drawing in the "traditional art" category. But obviously their are some color-holds and other digital shenanigans. There should be a category for traditional/ digital bastardizations like this... shouldn't there be?

I like how your illustrations are becoming more complete and colourful. Even if it is simply adding the colours in photoshop and whatever, it looks great.

superb, man ! I really get the underwater feeling. great colours and depth-feeling. the fish and jellyfish are well done.
redoing old drawings is a great exercise I'm doing too from time to time now too.
and good to hear you talking about the traditional/digital thing. it's ridiculous that that category doesn't exist yet. I've been putting stuff in traditional art, while it has been modified digitally too. I always feel like I'm kind of cheating.

yeah, its fun to redraw an old drawing and improve it. see how you've grown. this one was from when I was really little... like... nine. hahaha
yeah whenever I ink a drawing and color it digitally, I too always feel like I'm cheating by putting it as traditional.
