Actually Popeye has this understood better. Yes in todays world we have this notion that everyone is entitled to their opinion, in reality this notion doesnt work much like modern democracy, it is a system for those who are not corrupt and seek the truth. Generally this notion is used to fuel the arrogance of idiots.

Definition goes - Opinion is a side product of learning. Thus upon the full realization of a concept one no longer has an opinion but a clear understanding of said entity. If you purposely remain in a state of opinion you admit your inability to comprehend said subject and hide behind your opinion. This in turn halts any intellectual progress and provides a loop for endless, useless, pointless arguing, but as long as this screeching generates revenue, the existing system doesnt see it as an issue, while in reality and for personal development it is absolute hell and stagnation. Hence we been stuck in the mud/rot as long as we use this broken notion of - everyone has the right to an opinion.
In reality as Popeye said - informed and aware. Nobody with ''strong opinion' has this part. Thats like saying - I can shout louder and drown out others, thus I am right and all others are wrong.
I can see why you as a channel owner would favour the broken notion of opinion as you directly benefit from endless senseless arguments as they generate revenue and traffic for you.
Have you ever seen anyone say - I dont know? for example if I asked you to make me a rocket to go to moon. You can answer - Thats impossible nobody ever gonna get to the moon in my opinion. Or you can say - I dont have enough understanding and information to discuss rocketry. See the ego part now? ME M ME look at me I am important. Many people who have no clue should not debate in these fields, rather than educate themselves to a level where they can actually contribute. Jet the norm is just to say any dumb shit no matter how irrelevant it is. The most effective form how to de-rail any meaningful conversation. Is this opinion bullshit. It is like saying - I remain willfully ignorant and will arrogantly attack anyone who points this out or anyone who is not stuck with a nonsense agenda, or emotional reaction as they lack the intellect to comprehend the topic/subject at hand.
I will not debate many topics as I have little to no understanding, while this stupid notion is amazing for capitalism it is very degrading for the individual.

That level of absolutism is worthless unto itself.
It suggests that "everyone's opinion is of equal value", which is NOT true.
It not only muddies the waters, it is, effectively, if not actually, dangerous.
Wholeheartedly accepting everyone's opinions as "equal" and worth consideration
is not an intelligent or wise thing to do, and, in fact, NO ONE actually does that.
So at some point, attempting to act that way, or just give it lip service,
for whatever reasons, becomes glib, inane, and even vapid, if not worse.
Although "what is and is not an informed, aware and educated opinion
is purely subjective", it can and SHOULD be interpreted with as much
objectivity as possible, laced with truth, facts, and reality, which is
what an informed, aware, and minimally educated person does.
In other words, there are limits, supposedly obviously, although that
should be obvious to the point of being self-evident. And that should
all be taken into account when someone "gives their opinion",
which is NOT a "right", although I know a lot of people, probably
too many people, like to think it is (mostly because they heard
someone say that once, and like the ease of it), especially those who
should usually keep their mouths shut and their (worthless) "opinions" to themselves.

As noble of a sentiment as that is, unfortunately it is psychologically, neurologically and scientifically proven that all humans view reality subjectively. This is why in all of human history, even people in so-called professional circles can rarely agree on anything. Scientists disagree with each other. Doctors. Philosophers. Etc. And each camp as it were, views their particular take on things as being "educated and informed" and views all of the opposing camps as being ridiculous nonsense.
It is one of the things that has plagued humanity since day one. Even the Nazis didn't view themselves as being bad or evil. They viewed themselves as being hyper-moralistic, justified, logical and the saviors of humanity.
So while I agree that there is such a thing as stupid ideas, stupid questions and stupidity in general: to try to censor others in favor of one perspective has only ever lead to all of the evils of the world that everyone seems to agree "are bad" but at the same time, everyone appears egarly quick to repeat all of the mistakes of history over and over and over and over.
So if you presume to hold any authority over others to decide whether or not they should have the right to express themselves or not, I would at that point ask you for your legal proof of claim of your authority over other human beings. Failure to provide such legal proof of claim would then invalidate your claim and relegate your perspective to just yet another opinion among many who has the equal right to speak.
So from my perspective, you are saying you stand against absolutism, while simultaneously being absolutist.
There is also the whole "you and what army?" aspect of it as well. If you do feel you have the right to silence others based on some sense of moral superiority, are you going to try, and if so --- how? And if you even have the capability, then how does that make your thinking different from any other totalitarian dictator in human history?
So, I think we're going to have to agree to disagree because regardless of what any of the facts are, there are four facts I can promise and prove as absolute certainties:
#1 - No matter what I say, your view isn't going to change
#2 - No matter what you say, my view isn't going to change
#3 - My own real life personal experiences take precedence over lines of text on a screen from someone I don't know

#1 - No matter what I say, your view isn't going to change - providing your are an arrogant egotistical consumer with reckless abandon and no compassion ( basically a psycho). And also a side effect of the possibility to hide behind ones opinion. As we have no method for transferring the level of better comprehension to someone with a lesser. The lesser can just turn around in their arrogance and proclaim you wrong. Jet they have 0 understanding of the subject question at hand.
#2 - No matter what you say, my view isn't going to change - well then if this is the case then why you run a channel based upon explaining and exposing? If you insist on this then there is no point of a debate, you are the universal truth and nobody can understand anything better than you, then may as well just say - I am an arrogant asshole who will not listen.
