Debates are voluntary, not mandatory. People reserve the right to not give a flying fuck. Your approval is not needed for someone to think, feel and express themselves authentically; even if they authentically believe that alien space raccoons are trying to take over the world, or if they faithfully insist that you have a small dick. As long as they present their statements in admission that it is THEIR PERSPECTIVE and THEIR RIGHT TO HAVE IT, then they can believe whatever the hell they want and they are not obligated to present you with evidence. Having an opinion, feelings or systems of belief is not "disinfo". Its called individuality. If you don't respect individuality, you're a cock sucking nazi. And, thats our opinion. I'm neither pro nor anti Trump. My view of politics is two wings, one bird. So far Trump is surrounding himself with all the sort of people that he said he would drain from the swamp. Maybe he's playing a game of Go and just using these people only to throw them under the bus, or -- maybe it is the American people he's thrown under the bus. Time will surely tell. At any rate, a ground squirrel or a house burglar would make a better president than Hillary, which of course isn't saying much. lol

I'd suggest looking much deeper into the credentials of the people he is surrounding himself with. They are the same people he said he was going to remove from power. Most people don't want to dig that deeply because the information is too emotionally disturbing. Hence what I was saying in the other conversation about humanity becoming complacent. And this is why the same ole tricks work on humans, every time. The oldest tricks in the book are the ones everyone always falls for. This is why tyranny and ridiculousness ramping up exponentially, is a good thing. It is whats needed for people to stop falling for the same old tricks. It needs to keep coming hard and faster and more intense. So even if Trump is throwing us under the bus, in yet another irony -- he is still providing a valuable service to humanity. Things need to keep getting increasingly more nuts every second so that everyone's beliefs about reality are continuously defied more and more in every moment. Its the only way we'll wake up.

That is why I said "we shall see".
It is also why I said either way, he is serving humanity. Regardless of which way things go.
If he does as he said he would, cool. If not, then humanity can learn the needed hard lessons.
Either way, all good by me.

I actually think they're helping humanity by giving them a wake up call. We've grown quite complacent. SJWs look like something out of some dystopian science fiction comedy movie that in the past people would have thought could never be real, could never actually happen and only be something that you'd see on TV in a fictional story, but never in real life. We need this wake up call so we can see that we've gotten complacent and lazy.

Pretty much. We've been lulled into such a complacency that many people think that government and corporations are protected from evil and corruption by a magic force field powered by unicorns, and that to say otherwise makes someone a "crazy conspiracy nut". We're in such a state of Collective Stockholm Syndrome that we've been taught to make excuses for our abusers, even if they excuse is simply "well, life isn't fair, just accept that, because its human nature, and its normal". No, its not human nature and its not normal. It would be like saying its normal and natural to be ass raped by a cattle prod 6 times a day. We've all learned to feel justified with our victimization to such an extent that people brag and feel superior to others if they have "suffered more than everyone else". As if their suffering somehow makes them more worthy of ____________ whatever ... than those who they feel have not suffered to the extremes that they have. It is completely dysfunctional.
People are not able to see their dysfunction because they have normalized it. The only way for them to see it, is for it to manifest itself in such crazy outrageous extremes that it can no longer be written off as conspiracy theory. It needs to screw people over on a very deep and personal level and in such a way that defies their belief systems about reality so intensely that now they have to ask "wtf just happened?!" and they can no longer write it off with lame pseudo-logical excuses.
So everything from political scandals, to pedophiles, to SJWs and all of the increasing transparency of scumbagery and sheer stupidity, is absolutely required for people to wake up, so that they have the opportunity to decide whether or not they want to change to more kinder and compassionate ways to create a better world -- or -- if they prefer to remain the bitch of the system thats gonna keep sticking far worse in their ass than a cock.
It has gotten to the point that when you try to bring things to people's attention nicely, they ignore it or laugh it off. They need to get completely fucked over in order for them to understand that yes, it is real.
So SJWs and their insane ramblings and in many cases, actual violence they commit against people -- is absolutely needed at this time for the masses to wake up. So I say, if this is what humanity needs to be put into a position to decide to create a better world -- then let the tyranny become increasingly transparent and much more intense. If this is the lesser evil that serves the greater good, so be it and bring it on.
I prefer to view the negative as a positive opportunity to create positive change. To me, that is having a positive attitude. Shunning the dark because the harsh truth hurts the ego too much, is a lack of compassion, total apathy and is not positive at all.
So in a very ironic way, I am very thankful for SJWs and all of the other various forms of tyrannical stupidity.

Yes. Just yes. Censorship is one of the greatest evils a group of people can levy upon another group. It may begin as censoring foul language, which still is wrong to do, but all too often it can lead to censoring ideas that could have contributed some good to people. Freedom of speech is one of the most important tools people have, and even when it is used to further a point you disagree, it should be honoured. Great job sir!

paradigm-shifting In reply to Yokeldayankee [2016-10-12 04:33:34 +0000 UTC]
Yes, agreed. Example:
"Today is an abso-fucking-lutely gorgeous day" = non-offensive
"You are an idiot loser who is worth less than nothing that should go commit suicide" = highly offensive
Thus proving that so-called "correct words" can be far more hurtful than so-called "foul language".
The whole "foul vs not foul" is merely a precedent for censorship.
I think people should learn to speak mindfully, considerately and responsibly -- not "correctly" as per "correct" being defined by tyrannical influences.

I'm surprised to have seen Briannabater calling YOU a drama queen. Scratch that, actually. I completely expected her to be the adult she (probably not, but let's just assume) is by insulting you right out the front gate. And she is quite possibly the most dramatic person I've ever encountered on DA. Like, "14 year old emo," levels of dramatic. Always looking to disagree with someone for some reason if they even so much as question anything an SJW has ever pulled out of a magic hat.
But seriously, screw her. Just screw her. Don't listen to her, don't humor her, don't patronize her. Just screw her.

It seems to me, that the kids who bitch about what they call "political correctness" just want a blank check to treat Muslims, black, women, immigrants, and gays as sub-humans.

No, by political correctness I mean the SJWs who think that disagreeing with Obama means you hate black people and that being male automatically makes you sexist, or that saying "Merry Christmas" is "offensive" and we should say "Happy Holidays" instead otherwise shame on us. As well as just people who can't handle it that not everyone is going to absolutely agree with them on absolutely every topic, and who think that the blasphemous crime of having a different opinion, makes you a horrible terrible person. Especially if you like Happy Potter instead of Twilight. For shame!

Yes, you're correct. No one ever tries to censor anyone or push their views on people, because we live in a utopia where everyone is nice and everyone thinks the same way and everyone gets along. Thank you so much for calling me out on my delusional thinking. I'll seek mental help immediately and go take a drug which is safe, because big pharma says its safe, and they would never lie. I feel so uplifted and relieved. You are such a positive, loving and caring person. You have filled my day with a renewed sense of hope. Thank you for enlightening me with your wisdom. I don't really think you've read the deviation nor its description, you've also completely missed my sarcasm in my replies to you. So let me break it down for you what the point of this deviation is.
This deviation is a warning, not a complaint. Its a warning that those who value their time and would rather not waste their time reading / watching the absurdity and pure indigent nonsense of my journals, art and videos -- now have the option to consider showing themselves the door (and / or blocking me if they feel that this option works for them better). So its there as a courtesy, not a complaint.
Also because I am extremely unapologetic about these things as well. I have absolutely no problems what so ever if someone disagrees with my views, dislikes my views, or dislikes me. I'm not here to win any popularity contests. I fully respect the rights of others to think, feel, believe and express as they see fit and I value that right equal to that of my own, as I am not a huge fan of hypocrisy and double standards.
Though I am not overall outwardly looking to "offend people" (except perhaps in the case of SJWs whom I actively enjoy offending), it also does not really bother me at all if someone does get offended by something I say. This is because no matter who you are, what you say, or how you say it -- theres always going to be someone who is going to get offended by it. Even if from your perspective you made a very positive and uplifting point, there will always be someone who takes it to its polar opposite. Therefore, I have fully accepted and come to terms with this fact of life, with no complaints about it. It is what it is.
Thus far, you have come at me from out of left field, made a bunch of accusations and attempted to boss me around, which by the way -- I find amusing and have no problems with it what so ever. I'm not angry or even the least bit upset with you. Some people just enjoy coming up to others and start name calling sessions, just because they can. So if you enjoy that sort of thing -- which apparently you do -- I take no issue with that. I find people like you to be amusing.
Now can you please tell me where exactly I claimed that someone was censoring me?
Can you please tell me when and where I went around launching racial slurs at people?
Can you please tell me where and when I claimed that a negative opinion was a form of censorship?
Please break it down simple for me, like I'm a 6th grader. You already know I'm not all that intelligent. So help a dummy out, please.
