I like the idea immensely, though perhaps we could narrow it down on what powers they have? It should also be noted that since their power is to duplicate that they would most likely cancel each others powers out like in the battle between the Mimic and the Super-Adaptoid.But back to narrowing down their powers.
A.M.A.Z.O.: Originally built with the powers and skills of the original Justice League ( Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter) preinstalled, as well as a duplicate Lantern Power Ring and Lasso of Truth. As such he was a formidable adversary.
The Super-Adaptoid: Originally known as the Adaptoid, it built for the main purpose of defeating Captain America, which it did. It then disguised itself as Captain America but was later defeated by the Tumbler, who thought it was Captain America at the time. The Adaptoid became the Super-Adaptoid after the other Avengers (Goliath, Wasp, and Hawkeye) all examined it, thus coping and adding their powers with those he copied from Captain America.
From this I'd say A.M.A.Z.O. would be the victor. But in fairness if we went with the powers and equipment of the founding members of the JLA and the Avengers for each respective bot;
A.M.A.Z.O.: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. Along with duplicate GL power ring, Batman's utility belt, Wonder Woman's bracelets, and Lasso of Truth.
Super-Adaptoid: Iron Man, Thor, Henry Pym, the Wasp, and the Hulk. Mjolnir duplicate and Captain America duplicate shield.
Even with this I still think A.M.A.Z.O. will win, though I will concede that with strength and endurance of Thor and Hulk combined supported with the powers of the other founding Avengers that the Super-Adaptoid has a chance to win.
Any counter to this? I welcome a friendly debate and any revelation to evening the fight or showing a definitive winner.

A.M.A.Z.O. Superman powers are enough to crush Super-Adaptoid. DCU is on a much higher power level than Marvel for the most part.

But what of the Hulks ever increasing strength that the Super-Adaptoid has? And then there's the duplicate Mjolnir, after all A.M.A.Z.O. has shown to copy the weaknesses as well so he'd have Superman's vulnerability to magic, right? But then again I'm unsure if the Super-Adaptoid's duplicate Mjolnir carries any mystical power to it. If it did then it would probably fall from his grip to the ground as he'd be unworthy of wielding it. Have you any insight to this? I'm really quite curious to an answer between these two since they're so similar.

Hulks ever increasing strength comes to limits with his own mortality. The way his strength grows is too slow to come to match the DC powerhouses. Plus you have a misconception about supermans weakness to magic. He isn't weak in the sense of that if you touch him with a magic trinket he dies, it's more like his invulnerability (he blocks bullets with his eyes ._.) is not applied to magic.
With A.M.A.Z.O.'s power ring, lets remember that Hal Jordon was able to create constructs with it which span accross the entire world. Lantern rings are crazily powerful. And it doesn't go worse with either of the JLA members.

There's some errors here.
Hulks strength isn't limited except by how long he is angry. So if he calms down then he loses any additional strength given by his anger.
GL rings have their limits. The first being that the users will defines the strength of a construct made by the ring. If the users will weakens then so does the construct. Second is that a standard GL ring has a 24 hours worth of power to it between charges. So the power of the ring can be used up before a day passes.
But even so I agree with you, and still go with my original statement, that A.M.A.Z.O. would win. It's like a 51/49, if I had to score the difference between A.M.A.Z.O. and the Super-Adaptoid.

Hulk's strength gradually builds up the longer he is angry. This means he would have to be angry for days or weeks to match Superman's strength (presumably much longer) is what I'm saying.
Due to the anger part, this would also impair SA's tactical options outside of strength where Amazo gains his extra strength without ANY drawback whatsoever.

Yea but due to their abilities I think that would be the natural direction the fight would take, especially in a canon crossover

The Super-Adaptoid can't copy others with the ability to copy or mimic. When he fought the Mimic, the Mimic noticed that neither was copying the other and that his powers were purposely keeping him from mimicking the S-A. So he forced his powers to do so and thus caused a feedback between them that removed their copied powers.
But I did figure a way to have them fight equally, in a sense. Have them copy the powers and abilities they copy the most. That way there's a set power set for them each.
