In the game Mage: The Ascension (White-Wolf Publications), this is the symbol for the magical sphere of "Correspondence".In traditional alchemy, it is the symbol for "amalgam".

An intermediate color between the pixels where there's a corner. It's hard to explain. Use this.
[link] The black diamond on that page shows it well. Though that's done by machine. Usually when you do it by hand it's just one shade rather than the ton that a machine uses.
