The Hammer-E (or Hammer-Enhanced) On-Demand Combat Armor is an experimental prototype designed to replace the Hammer v2 Nanosuit and the original Hammer Powered Combat Armor. While aesthetically based on Leo's design for the Spartan Combat Exoskeleton, this armor utilizes the latest in Ed Batten's advancements towards a stronger, more powerful, and lightweight armor type. With a more powerful musculature, thicker multilayered SHIELD armor plating, and an underlying, ultra-strong exoskeletal framework, the Hammer-E Combat Armor in either version provides for higher power output, better offensive and defensive capabilities, and more complete protection for the wearer, making this newer version of armor far superior to the older model in all respects.
