Previous:At last!! Sorry this has taken so long!
There's actually more frames but this is a good point to publish. It does make this comic a bit short (apologies!) but I don't suppose there's any point in them sitting unpublished any longer! Especially if the full thing would take so long. Big comics are a little intimidating to sit down and draw, so perhaps I'll do this in the future to make things more achievable. I won't make them shorter if it harms the dialogue though; I'm not very good at 'snappy' writing, you might have noticed
So yep, have a comic, and confirmation that I am still alive and drawing! It's not that I've been idle - far from it, but I'm just spread too thin I think. More than a couple dozen projects in varying states of completion, and you can easily double that if you include stuff that hasn't made it past scripts/notes and a few draft images. I guess time and resource management really isn't my thing, so... oops.

People will talk about the long wait, but the reality is - folks wait for things that are good.
The better the quality, the less drop-off there is during the wait.
These are well drawn, well thought out, well written, and original. The folks failing to keep following this are going to be substantially lower than most pony long form comics.

This seems like an accurate expression of my experience with reddit. Often I get a single downvote and no upvotes and I often feel as though the downvoters don't even click my links.

I've honestly stopped caring about the votes. I've comments with thousands of upvotes. I've comments in the negatives. If anything it's just a curious view into how much your opinions/thoughts align with those around you. Not a very accurate one at that, since there's the whole Hivemind thing going on.
As for submissions, I don't really submit much, and if I did, I suspect it would be as you've described! Just remember there's tons of people all vying for the same limited share of attention. In a busy sub we're probably invisible against the waves of incoming posts.

Of course you'll pretty much always get a ton of views if you post to reddit regardless. Makes me wonder if this is due to bots.
"Mach Go Go Go/Speed Racer opeing edit - Surprise MACH" got at least 1 upvote there while my "Worst 4kids theme songs" post seems to be in a state of flux in terms of upvotes for some bizarre reason.
And that newest post I submitted to r/MLP says 55% upvoted instead of 50% which means at least one upvote and at least one downvote, as there is one comment that isn't mine.
