I think I did it in a couple hours actually: made the pic in paint, figured out the text for each pixel, copied the bullet text into a text box and posted the result here . Compared to my other projects, this was more of a break than anything else . I ended up making a program for it later and made [link] using a 3D least-distance formula for colors

Thanks It only took a couple hours actually (made the picture, made a text document labeled by letters, replaced the letters with the corresponding bullet text, posted the bullets, not terribly complex compared to my other projects ). I ended up making a program after I finished this to do the same thing automatically . I believe there is also a publicly available program out there

Yeah, this one I did by hand (that was in the rules at that point, but right after I finish it, =davecheesefish released a program and the rules changed [link] ), so I spent a good couple hours on it... I think it was a Friday afternoon if I am not mistaken, so I wasn't really pushing myself or anything

You probably have Java on your computer actually (if you've ever played an Applet, that's Java, like [link] ), just not the required interface to program in it. I could teach you a few tricks with it if you would like, it's all freeware (that's very intentional).

You wouldn't be wasting my time, it's more productive than animating on Fridays, that's for sure . I figure if you're set up with the editor, then you can learn at your own pace if you become interested in it

Yeah, pretty much. I haven't done anything earth shattering yet though . I think one of my drives is infected, so I need to restore it one of these days; once I do that I can upload my backlog of games (on the staggering 2GB of disk space I have left on my 60GB hard drive -- I may have to delete some stuff ). This contest just seemed like an interesting topic, so I went for it .
