I couldn't beleive that there was no Spore Stamp on DA, considering the game is coming out later this year (September 7th, 2008 Press Release , Amazon.com ).
A free downloadable demo, and complete retail version of the Spore Creature Creator will be available starting June 17, 2008 (Press Release )

I was once very close to finishing it, and it took about a year to get there, but my computer broke, we got it fixed, and everything was erased from the comp.

SPORE is an amazing creation. Very ambitious but falls too short on the gameplay depth. Love the creators though, I used to create all the time a couple of years ago. Now I'm going back to it again starting from fresh (zero creations). I used to post them up on dA. I just got Galactic Adventures and it's an amazing expansion pack. Lately I've been trying to import Spore creation files in Maya for further rendering and animation but I couldn't ghet maya to support Collada plug-ins. My spore name is 'fox-amoeba', see you on the other side of the universe!

The one thing I would never get over was the hype before-hand - Wright was saying something about procedurally generated content and demonstrated a character that could learn that eating and moving could be combined into dragging food, but that wasn't anywhere in the game.
