I mean, the bees came out and I was awestruck with there beautiful chonkyness so I had to make something to celebrate. Thought the bee on it’s own was too little so I added the other two flying mobs in the Overworld!

The Bee is just that. A bee. However, due to there unrivaled spot in the ecosystem of the Overworld, there species never grew smaller than there prehistoric size, hence why in the modern day there so large compared to other insects. In the drain I didn’t wanna make it just a normal bee, I wanted to keep the afore mentioned chonkyness and adorable look without abandoning the style of my other designs. So I like to think I found a nice balance between the three factors, being inspired by Mothra’s design from the original Tojo movies for the final look.

The bat is almost completely blind due to dwelling in subterranean pitch-black caverns primarily, and as such rely on there high squeaks to bounce off the stone of the cave and alert them to there location. However, this doesn’t always work, as the bat is a rare and endangered species because it often finds itself drawn to lava (bright light) and falling in. A true crime against nature.

The parrot design doesn’t really have any explanation, just wanted to draw a cute bird. Also made him look like IKEA Bird #1 as tribute. This is sort of my gateway into showing you guys I won’t just be drawing the main hostile mobs, I’m also gonna do the passive ones but in my own style, kinda like what you see here. Hope you enjoy!
