Meet Owen.He's paranoid.
I had a lot of fun with this one, though my fingers kind of hurt from blending the pastel. Thank God for blending tortillions... Also, the Copic 00 blending marker actually came in handy for once! Who woulda thought? I'm pretty happy with how the colors came out, too, though the scan made his hair look too red even after some minor editing. Just, er, keep in mind that it's really more auburn than red. He's not a ginger. >w<
Owen's a twin (his brother's a not-crazy fancypants publisher), and also goes by Arkady, because using his real name would mean that "they" could find him much more easily. X3 His existence was inspired by Stephen King's short story, Paranoia: A Chant, which I read in Skeleton Crew. I love that man's writing~ @w@

I have to say it's creepy as hell...yet at the same time i get this feeling of wonderment as I stare at it and feel just a bit of envy and awe at your picture. Another master piece friend.

Jesus. I keep coming back to stare at this - this is, like, the fourth time I've looked at this in fifteen minutes? X'D <3 Oh, he's such a cutie. His hair and his expression! They're glorious! I really like the perspective on his body and that lovely door, too.

Haha~ Yeah I had fun with them. I have a weird thing with drawing hands... Either I can't get it at all and wish whoever I'm drawing would just wear mittens all the time, or I want to do things like this. I have to say though, the anatomy book I got recently did help. >w<
