UPDATE: Ok a bit oh an update, I changed a few things. I made the second two tabs come up to the same level as the first.The top yellow not has a slight dropshadow so it can be distinguished from the others.
I also made the background a light and more saturated shade, hopefully it makes the text more legible.

Firstly, I have to point out legibility. The font is too small, it's hard to read and blends in too much with the background (I'm talking about the left section).
Navigation: I don't understand how those tabs work because the other 2 are hidden. How will users know what they are? Navigation is the key to any functional design. Make it functional.
The area that has featured critique, those notepads really shouldn't blend so I agree with comments on that.
Otherwise, I like the bright vibrant look, the textures, funny sketches. I think you took direction well and come really close to what I want.

I was actually worried about the legability, But hopefully it's a bit better now.
Well, in the start the tabs were going to raise up when you hover over them, but now there all at the same level.
I've added a slight dropshadow just so you can distinguish between them.

Nice job! Like most others have said it looks really tidy. I agree with =pica-ae though - I think it would look better if somehow those yellow papers were separated a bit. :3

what i don't like is the way the yellow papers blend into each other... maybe add a little (just tiny) shadow there?
