Why is Jesus on top? I thought the Father was more powerful than the Son. Is there variance between these things? Like a scale or order of power or are they all the same? And for that matter should you pray to Jesus?

The Father isn't more powerful than the Son. And this isn't the depiction of the Trinity, it is the depiction of the three sacraments of Christianity: Communion (cross made of blood), Baptism (waves) and Chrismation / Confirmation (blazing Holy Spirit).
