yup! but i was also thinking particularly of his "circle limit" pieces-- they're like looking at his tessellations printed on the surface of a sphere. like Circle Limit III or V especially, just the layers of repetition in your piece really called them to mind. ^^

This is outstanding!! I can feel myself swirling in the eternal depth of those sunflower fractal. Beautiful choice of colors and patterns. The depth and details are remarkable. A very well-deserved DD.
