haha, got to laugh at that. one of the things i liked in the 70's is the crazy hair (can't pretend i liked the rest of the look)
and then there was an old american cartoon on TV (oh, i wish i remembered its name) where the main character is a cool black guy with huge hair where he used to hide all kind of things that came very handy in urgent situations.
i guess now it will be accused of implied racism, but in those day it was innocent i guess. and had a good sense of humor.

i had a very nice fellow student from eritrea, tsige habteab, with such a hairdo !
when we were out for a field trip he always put his stuff, like pencils and rulers there.

j'ai essayé une fois près de palais Surso2, pas loin de chez toi. je ne savais pas qu'il y avait des maisons de ministres et de députés la-bas. un beau quartier, BTW.
j'ai été interpelée deux fois par des... comment les appeler? les hommes armés qui protègent tout l’entourage. ils ont peur de moi, comme si j'avais caché une bombe dans ma camera.
je suis revenue à mon endroit protégé.
