there is something to be said about capturing the essence of nightmares so fully that horror can be seen in something so mundane as childrens' playthings sitting on the ground and yet there we are looking at what is otherwise three ducks and chatter teeth feeling the suspense of a familiar nightmare each of us has had at some point in our lives. the combination of exact focus and toned-down colors make this image quite surreal and gives it a dreamlike quality that makes you feel deep down that despite there being no way this is real it feels just a little /too/ real
