Simple and funA super simple sketch.
I was trying really hard to do something with my drawings and it wasn't working. I was starting to get upset until
I saw my son drawing with such freedom and pleasure. So I figured I'd join him and
see if it helped me.
It did!

This is the snag I think I have run into with my art too much anymore. I want to badly to get things done, to do them well, and I work and work and work, but there seems to be no life to a lot of it anymore, no joy. I have forgotten how I used to have fun with art. And I don't have kids to remind me.

I can sometimes get stressed when doing art, because Iβm one of those who likes putting in detail, and I get stressed out when my drawing doesnβt match the picture or image Iβm drawing from. But I think your right, is artists shouldnβt get stressed when doing art, we should just learn to have fun with it.
