Description Tifa Lockheart from FFVII Advent Children.

I promised this portrait to ~Enryine AGES ago and I FINALLY got around to finishing it. IM SUPER SUPER SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG!!!!

Im really pleased with the way this came out ^^ Im finding that im beginning to be more satisifeid with my art more often now :3. I hope you all enjoy!

I drew the same picture of Tifa recently, let me know what you think! I feel you did a much better job at shading and on the highlights in the hair. The shading is very smooth, tough to do. The lips and nose look great, something I had trouble with. As for "advanced critique', I think that the hair could be a bit darker, that way more depth is added to the drawing and the face will be brought forward more. Also, the shirt could be darker as well because it looks rather 2-D in comparison to the face. But other than that, great work!

I know about the shirt, but i used such dark pencils to shade her face that the shirt ended up looking darker. I always have trouble making darker hair look shaded properly.

No problem at all! I typically always ask for critique in my entries. The people who have given me critique are largely responsible for improvement in drawing.

I know what you mean! I normally only ask for critique on my pencil portraits though, since i havent been doing this for very long.
