It seems it automatically makes a black square background around the thumbs and sta.sh links I put in, the few that don't have this are copied from my former commission journal, what do I have to change to keep it from doing this?

I am a bit embarrassed but I customized colours and I encountered issues with thumbs. Do you think you could help me ?
Issue 1 :
Thumbs' background was black : Issue 1
So, I set the background to white in the ".shadow-holder" block, and I removed the 1px black border (I set the border's color to white, I also tried to remove it).
But then, here is the second issue : Issue 2
There are many giant spaces and I don't know why D:
