Well, what do ya know, another mermaid! Like I explained in my recent journal, This is the 3rd annual princess drawing for our niece Lindsey! Her party is this Sunday, so I better hurry up!She has Belle, Aurora, and soon Ariel.....a nice little collection.

I used only 2 pencils for this drawing. "H" and "2B".... I use the pentel graphite refills in a mechanical pencil. Always Sharp!

How cute, I love her nose! I was wondering Pat, when you draw these little cartoon ones, do you use a reference or just make it up with your imagination and create your own version of the character?

This is based off of the Birthday Party Invitation for the little girl I am drawing it for! But I will say, Loosely based....I stick to the shapes of the major objects of her character, but the hair is totally ad-lib.
