This photo shows the really small size of this little sketch! Just for reference to illustrate how little it was. Here [link] is the finished drawing.Related content

oooh, I like this photo of the drawing better than the image of just the drawing itself. This really shows how much detail you can fit into a small drawing space.
btw, I have that exact green pencil! lol. I have a different 0.3mm one than yours but that's cool too.

Man, that really shows off your workmanship! If its that small and can still contain so much detail, so much life and still be vibrant, you know you're good!!

Wow! This is a great composition in itself with your tools of the trade and canvas in plain sight! Really one fantastic piece and I like the layout of this shot!

Wow, thats really tiny compared to what I'd guess.
What kind of stuff is it you got there? Or what kind of tools did you use when making it.

Just a couple mechanical pencils ( with lead refills) and a blue colored pencil. A drafting dust brush in the back there.

Do you use the brush for anything?

Ah, that was almost obvious...
Why two mechanical pencils?
I would assume they have different size or colour of the lead or something.

The yellow pencil is 0.3mm (very sharp) like a needle, but I could only get "B" leads for it (not dark enough).
The green pencil has a "2B" lead and it is 0.5mm ( about 95% of all my drawings were done with that green pencil there).

Ok. What does the B stand for?

I'm not really sure.....They are just letters to denote the hardness of leads for pencils.

Any idea what HB would mean?
As the leads I got say 0.5 HB and 0.7 HB.

i dont know what hb stands for ,,,,,but i always think of it as the go to pencil...its the one i use the most...cause it can be used for light ,medium, dark....depending on the pressure used...
the pencils that i use goes like this ...dark to light...
9b,8b,6b,4b,3b,f, HB ,2h,4h,5h,6h,8h,9h
if you notice hb is in the middle so it can be used for light and dark depending on pressure..
