Description
I remember when I first went off to college I was looking forward to doing all the crazy things I didn't have the freedom to do at home. The first thing I wanted to try was all the crappy sugary cereals my mother would never allow in the house. I bought at least four. Captain Crunch, Coco Puffs, Count Chocula, and something else that was chocolate, I can't remember. And you know what? They all tasted like crap and immediately went straight into the trash right after the moment I tasted them. Count Chocula damn near made me barf.
Anyway, the name 'Captain Glucose's Sugary Pancreas Blaster' is the (what I thought was hilarious) idea of an internet acquaintance by the name of Chance at a place called the 'Phlog'.

Inspired by frosted chocolate sugar bombs, no doubt. I was going to get one of those shirts frosted chocolate sugar bombs shirts with Hobbes on it but it was just too expensive. If it was dirt cheap, it wouldn't be an insult to Watterson, who is the ultimate not-sellout, but for someone to be making money hand over fist for stealing his stuff, which is the greatest thing the human race has ever produced, is just so horrible.

Ha! For a second I misread 'pancreas' as 'pancake' and it reminded me of this modern breakfast invention [link]
Breakfast may the most important meal but I think it's also the one that gets a little too ridiculous sometimes...

WORD! Why do they feel pressured to keep reinventing cereals that were basically perfected half a century ago? "Now with extra bran!" Oh, bran, so you've taken a cereal that was always perfectly healthy and made it taste like driveway gravel so I can poop more? That's just swell.

The only cereal I like is Cinnamon Toast Crunch and it's not a daily part of my diet. I usually settle for a cuppa' tea and a bagel at school.

This reminds me of the old Topps product parody trading cards that were around in the 70's. They had things like "Died" detergent "So lethal you can't even touch it" and ""Upchuck wagon" dogfood.
Isn't it weird how te stuff you thought would be good when you were little is actually gross?

*laughs* Unfortunately I grew up on that stuff... and occasionally wish I wasn't now health consious and get sentimental over Count Chocula during October.
