Size: 80-105cm tall in the shoulder, 130-150cm long from snout to tail
Classification: Artiodactyl Ungulate
Habitat: Savannah, Grasslands, Forests, Deserts, Arctics
Diet: Herbivorous; Diet consisted of grass, forbs, shrubs, and cacti
Description: Rivaled against the gazelles, onagers, and white-tailed deer for being the fastest ungulates in the world, the second fastest land mammal is the Pronghorn. Pronghorns are more successful at escaping from prehistoric predators, such ones as American Cheetahs(Miracinonyx inexpectatus). Do you think that pronghorns are part of the deer family, but you are probably confused what ungulate family does the pronghorn belongs to? But due to their antlers, which you have never thought that pronghorns being the only members of the giraffe family that's native to North and Central America, which these antelopes are closely related to giraffes, than to deer and gazelles. The predators of the pronghorns are pumas, wolves, coyotes, bobcats, and eagles. Males have antlers, but females and juveniles don't have any. Their dewclaw-less hooves are built for speed, not for jumping like rabbits and kangaroos.

Yeah, I can tell, and thanks! Did you know that the pronghorn being the only member of the Giraffe family in the Americas, except they are the most deer-like of them? Some people says that these antelopes are parts of the deer family, due to their antlers, except they have no dewclaws, which is unlike that of deer.
